I will take great pleasure in sitting in a high tree, picking IHMN off with fire arrows...... *evil grin*

by the way, what race is Link? I might decide to be an outcast member of his people........

Forever Zero 05-23-2004 06:18 PM

Just plain ole' Hyrulian. They look like Elves, but they always call themselves Hyrulian. Either one should get the point across. In fact, I would want to fit in with the population...

IHateMakingNames 05-23-2004 06:19 PM

Hyrulian are just humans with longer ears.

Dragonsbane 05-23-2004 06:22 PM

should we be Humans or Hyrulians? If I'm Hyrulian, I might already know the WBT........

IHateMakingNames 05-23-2004 06:24 PM

Here, I will teach you how to do that.

Hold your blade out, and spin around. Is that so hard?

And no, you would not know something just because you are Hyrulian. The Great Faerie(s) only give Link his magic (No one should have magic by the way) because he is the Hero of Time.

Forever Zero 05-23-2004 06:25 PM

Then where did Ganondorf get his magic? Or the two witches? Or Wizrobes? They got their magic from somewhere, and we are on their side now, so I don't think they would be totally adverse to teaching it to us...

IHateMakingNames 05-23-2004 06:29 PM

Ganondorf, Triforce of Power.

Everyone else is just a monster (The two witches were... No idea). You aren't monsters.

But no Hyrulians have ever had magic (Beyond Sages and Zelda, and Link).

Edit - Actually, there have probably been a couple of characters in Zelda games who spent most of their lives teaching themselves magic, but not many.

Dragonsbane 05-23-2004 06:30 PM

Cool! Can I learn some Fire magic to blast the Capitalist pigs with?

Forever Zero 05-23-2004 06:32 PM

Wow... I'm not even sure how to respond to DB...

I don't need any magic anyway, it's mostly an academic discussion in that case. What if we where a monster that was allied with the Communist? Some of them seemed pretty smart...

IHateMakingNames 05-23-2004 06:34 PM

Not even many monsters have magic, just those floating robes with hands and some bosses.

But, all of your bios say Human (Hyrulian), so I think that cancels out magic for you.

And even if you have magic, beyond Ganondorf, the most I've seen are one or two spells, and even then they (Casters) usually weak physically, or really old.
