My mother has been out of a job for 2 years and companies wont hire her, one says she will never be hired unless she takes a position that gave only a third of her former pay.
also she will probably never retire thanks to the recession and 9/11

Ouch, has she tried studying a new field?

Yes. if you looked at her resume you would see a wide verity of jobs in almost every field (from computer development to managing projects fro banks)

Kyanbu The Legend 05-13-2011 11:08 AM

I'm sure something will come up eventually.

She'll find a good paying job soon, just gotta keep on trying.

I hung out with my best friend too much, she was sick and now I'm getting sick. Damn you socialization!

Got my love for drawing back.

Cause there's no problem Captain Falcon's theme song can't fix.

Gonna cook up some sick shit and give my male characters (from "Mischief Knights") the love they need and deserve.

I was really sick last week. Due to a combination of vomiting and diarrhea I eventually became so dehydrated my sister had to take me to the hospital to receive an IV. Now all better.

My first world problem?

I can't find a damn jerb. I'm seriously considering just saying "screw it" and spending the 500$ to get my bartending license, but then I would really really need to find a bartending job quickly because without those 500 scrillas rent will be tricky next month. Apparently part-time jobs don't exist in Saskatoon. Currently I am bored out of my mind and spend at least 7 hours a day on the internet or watching Netflix, and 2 hours a day in the gym. It has been suggested that I use my newfound free time to learn to juggle.

rpgdemon 05-13-2011 11:39 PM

Juggling's fun. And easy! Go for it.

Kyanbu The Legend 05-16-2011 01:04 AM

And it's cool to show it off too!

I need to stop getting killed over the internet for handling a critic badly. Man I thought I'd never calm them down.

But it did remind me why I steer clear of serious art communities in the first place. XD

EDIT: Really, 5 months in and 2011 is already the worst year of my life. -_-

rpgdemon 05-16-2011 01:15 AM

Still got another seven to go! Which is more than five!

Also, who cares what critics say? I honestly don't get the whole not liking criticism thing that people have. I personally love to have stuff criticism'd, because generally when I make the changes that people have criticized, the work comes out a thousand times better. And also, if you encourage -all- feedback, when people stop criticizing, that's when you know that you have something good! XD
