Guest Comic #8 - So close and yet so far away

Well it looks like Fighter almost realized his dream of being a Sword Chucks Master.

If DM can't be happy then Fighter can't either I guess.

I found it funny, but a little long in the telling, it could have been trimmed and need a stronger punch line in the end.

'Twas good, but a little too predictable.

I still say that Katzedecimals entry should have won.

I liked this one a lot. Somehow it felt more like a Clevinger comic than a guest comic. My compliments to the author.

-Gasp-Maybe Brian made this comic and just claimed it was a guest comic?

Actually, I think it was on-par with some of the other webcomics on the 'Net these days. Which are sub-par of 8BT. I'd give this one the same respect I give BnG.

I agree with Otaku...........in fact, I was probably going to say the exact same thing....only not as eloquently

Did you ever think that Katz's comic was going to be posted, but, since it was put on the forums, Brian had to pull out another one? Hmmmm?
This comic was made by whom? Samarai Web Designer? A quick yahoo search yielded nothing and Brian didn't leave a link. Something doesn't add up.
I really liked the flowers.

Nope, sorry - I only posted mine this afternoon. I knew before Guest Week started, that my submissions hadn't made the cut. Brian hasn't been putting up the guest comics manually - they were preloaded onto the server and auto-updated. He didn't do a last-minute ditch-and-switch. My comic was never chosen; that's why I posted it to the Loser List. :-P

I enjoyed this comic, it fit BM's role perfectly. I have to laugh at BM's pose in the final panel.

Very interesting comic. Very interesting indeed. Yes... Very interesting... I am strange as all hell. Is hell strange?

Dragonsbane 05-23-2004 02:15 AM
