Doesn't look like it's an automatic thing. Unless you set it to look for an update whenever it's connected to the net.

Aerozord 05-19-2011 06:55 PM

well I cant find any manual way to update it, atleast I found none, so I assume its automatic

Marc v4.0 05-19-2011 07:27 PM

Yeah, I haven't found an option for updates, think it is pretty much a "Do it or don't use Live" deal like with game updates

Kim 05-19-2011 07:29 PM

They're releasing the update over time, most likely so they can better deal with any problems that happen, rather than all the no good 360's shitting themselves at once. Also, can't stand the degree to which this thread is misleading.

So are we ragging on Microsoft now? I bet all those peoples who swapped in their PS3s for X-Boxs in order to play online are feeling pretty silly.

Super silly.

Nothing misleading at all. all known data was presented you just took offense to it.

maybe this is their new plan, to cycle all game systems. Then people buy Wii, but then their new system hits, so they buy that, unfortunately they need to sell it to afford the new PS3 which now dispenses free blow jobs

Which is technically a 100% factual statement.

People with brand new systems don't have to worry. So, no, unless they bought a used sytem from a few years ago they don't really feel all that silly at all.

And if they did buy an old one and it got borked, boy howdy I bet they feel really stupid getting that brand-spanking new replacement for free!
