Satanism isn't really devil worship anyway. It just really sounds like it is because it has satan in its name.

Okay, there are about twenty-six thousand schools of satanism, and I don't know to how many of them that applies, but I'll just pretend that this is all there is to know.

edit: Actually, it is right there in the line. "or similar rebellious, promethean, and liberating figures" so while some might 'worship' Satan, they don't all do it and it is in the spirit of worshiping the rebelious nature of Satan, not the chicken blood and demonic rites type of stuff

Still worshipping Satan. Like I only worship the aspect of God that wrote Leviticus 19:27, doesn't mean I don't worship God.

And as I said, they don't really worship "Satan" as much as they worship some kind of extreme liberalism mashup (the Church of Satan anyway) but they do claim him as an influence and that is why it is called "Satanism". ANd like there a million groups callin ghimself that but that is where the name comes from and that is where the influence lies.
