A) this movie has been made already and it doesn't look like it has any new spin on it
B) It has incredibly terrible CGI effects
C) Ridiculously stupid FPS section last seen in Doom
D) This movie has already been made a million times in multiple media forms.

Also why did it seem grimdark? Isn't Amazing Spider-Man supposed to be wise-cracking and such?

When he narrated in the trailer like "We all have secrets..."

It might as well have been Marcus Fenix from Gears of War saying it, when I feel like ASM reply would be along the lines of "Mine is just more awesome wooooooooooooo!"

We'd already covered those. Excuse me for trying to think up more reasons to hate on this thing!

Okay, how about this for another reason to hate on it: the Vulture is a stupid villain.

Hmm, hmm, how about this: Spider-Man's glasses in this film are no longer geek glasses per our current culture but have become ironic HYYYYYYPPPPPSST-TUR glasses especially in combination with his stylish hair-do and so he is actually in style in this film.

And what's wrong with his faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaace

That was the best part of the movie, man! That, and all the "fucking" and "shit" in the end credits. I do love movies that invalidate parents' choice to take their kids to a PG flick by filling the hallway with obscenities every time they end.

I could make the argument that the Doom thing was more stupid. They're also different things using a similar cinematog- cinema- camera technique.

Also, I could pull up a few threads where I was all like "Hey, Batman: Arkham Asylum looks like a great game!" and you're all like "Meh." Or the thing where I got the Dragon Age II demo and was like "This is shit." and you're all like "It's a demo. It's not the completed game, things are open to change."
