All hail the high general Dragonsbane and our glorius leader ForeverZero

[EDIT] Horsebomb...... yeah and you could even feed it to the horse instead of strapping it on the bottom [/EDIT]

IHateMakingNames 05-25-2004 08:56 PM

You comminist wouldn't have 1 set leader, you would have a console of leaders...

But, you commies are screwed... You either have a traitor as a leader, or an idiot.

Forever Zero 05-25-2004 08:56 PM

Bah, as long as my fellow countrymen listen to what I have to say, there will be no problems...

Edit:

Why, that is Brilliant Comrade! I give you a Gold Star, and then I give one to everyone else, because after all we are all equal in Communism...

AndyBloodredMage 05-25-2004 08:57 PM

Mental note. Never, EVER, accept anything from FZ.

h4x.m4g3 05-25-2004 08:57 PM

No the traitor/idiot leaders only come after the original dies. So were good for the lifespan of ForeverZero

Dragonsbane 05-25-2004 08:57 PM

Horse-bombs.......now THAT is a cool idea!

Horse:"Neeigh!!"
Capitalist pig-dog villager: "what's that strapped to its underside?"
Bomb: BOOOOM!!!!

seriously, and my secret police will help ensure the loyalty of the country.....

Elminster_Amaur 05-25-2004 08:59 PM

I don't think the horse would say BOOOOM!!!

Forever Zero 05-25-2004 08:59 PM

I think IHMN alluded to ME being the traitor. And frankly, I am deeply offended on the highest level by this outright slur against my good name. I have never played a Traitor in an RP... that any of you know about...

Really, it's more of a temporary leadership, as the leader is only there to help guide the rest of the movement along.

Edit: someone asked for this.

Dragonsbane 05-25-2004 09:04 PM

the horse isn't saying boom, the bomb is.....now......*edits*

h4x.m4g3 05-25-2004 09:08 PM

Yeah thanks for the list. Horse bomb that's still funny. Good thing i prefer to walk and FZ would never betray us, his successor would be the one to betray us and make a purge killing all of us, his supporters.

IHateMakingNames 05-25-2004 09:09 PM

Why wouldn't FZ turn on you all, and why would his successor?

Forever Zero 05-25-2004 09:10 PM

Yep... Wait, my successor? Hmm, now to become paranoid of those trying to usurp my reign...

EDIT: The successor wants to get rid of any loyalists to me who might try to stab the successor in the back for offing me.

h4x.m4g3 05-25-2004 09:10 PM

I was paralleling FZ to Lenin, and whoever his successor was to Stalin and the great purge. God schools over I should have forgotten Russian history by now.

Forever Zero 05-25-2004 09:13 PM

Ahh, but History was one of the fun ones! All that backstabbing and insulting and wars... Russia was one of the better ones to study. Gives you a good look into how to play a power-mad dictator that is determined to stay in power, and gives you tips to that end... My, umm, "Loyalty Force" will be visiting you all to make sure you have the proper loyalty to the Communist Cause...

... I think we are all going to have killed each other in three chapters...

h4x.m4g3 05-25-2004 09:16 PM

no way....I think we'd all drink too much potentially poisoned Vodka and die as soon as we ever start getting somewhere

[EDIT] Yeah History was okay. ... I guess but The end of the year the teacher tried to cram WW2 into us in less than a week for finals. My personal study plan was to play all the Red Faction I could. Glorius Communist game.[/EDIT]

Elminster_Amaur 05-25-2004 09:16 PM

Wow, you are giving you guys that long?

Forever Zero 05-25-2004 09:17 PM

I guess I'm an opptomist at heart...

Elminster_Amaur 05-25-2004 09:21 PM

Okay...five people have answered, so if you guys want to start this thing, I'll go ahead and creat the thread.

slightly aboveaverage man 05-25-2004 09:23 PM

I won't be posting 'til tomorrow... damn sleep.

h4x.m4g3 05-25-2004 09:25 PM

Sleep, who needs sleep anymore comrade just get another nonpoisoned Vodka and you'll be fine.
Also I hope my modem wants to be a little more stable know, stupid thing cut out twice. I'd shoot it but I dont have a spare

Elminster_Amaur 05-25-2004 09:26 PM

Well, if you guys still want to give me your descriptions, I'll just put them into my first post and we can begin as soon as you guys want to.

h4x.m4g3 05-25-2004 09:30 PM

Physical Description
6'5, bald head, very muscular, short stubble for a beard. wears a red monk's cloak. carries a silver flask with him.
Note this description is for when he's not in disguise. His appearance can change drastically when needed.

Forever Zero 05-25-2004 09:46 PM

My guy is 6 foot, medium build, with a black longcoat, black boots, dark green pants and black shirt. He has a pair of goggles that he keeps on his head but doesn't wear often. His face is young looking with brown eyes and clean shaven except for his goatee. His hair is brown as well.

Funka Genocide 05-25-2004 11:59 PM

sorry it took me so lng to confirm my participation, I had a bout of the old liberty. anyways I read through this humongous post and got a general gist of whats going on. I definitely still want to play, and I will give my physical description now. an average height (I'm guessing 5' 10'' but I don't know the average height of a hylian.) slender young man, 22 to 23 years of age. A short cropped head of green hair and a dazzling smile (thats how he gets the ladies) He takes most things as ajoke, and has trouble discerning when a situation has gone from friendly to hostile, although his quick reflexes help to offset this flaw.
To explain the Gerudo thing a little further, evey person is an individual, and this should nclude fictional characters as well. Although the general practice of Gerudo women is to kill their mates, perhaps one found it in her heart to spare the man she loved. This could be a good story angle for my character. The circus performer idea still stands, although perhaps more of an artistic feel to this character would be appropriate. Sorry to change some details this late in the game, but I hope you still let me play.

Dragonsbane 05-26-2004 06:34 AM

Dmitri Ivanovich is around 7 feet tall with extremely broad shoulders (which often led to him being teased when he was younger, since some other young Hylians claimed he was part Goron). He is incredibly strong, yet agile (swordsman, physical stats are most important to him). Has silvery hair that he dyes red at the tips in honor of the Communist cause, and long, swept-back ears.....

Shall we begin, comrades?

IHateMakingNames 05-26-2004 02:22 PM

Zoam, your guy hasn't fucked a Gerudo, give it up... Even if that one Gerudo decided to not kill him, the rest would. If you actually got away, you would probably be hunted down and killed.

And my guy is a dire wolf, basically a slighter bigger version of a grey wolf.

slightly aboveaverage man 05-26-2004 02:36 PM

Alexi has a full black beard with small traces of grey throughout, is about 43, and has a medium build. he wears heavy clothing, and has his bow and quiver usually slinged on his back.

Dragonsbane 05-26-2004 02:46 PM

IHMN, it's his character, not yours.......not all Gerudo would immediately hunt down and kill a male another of their race decided to spare.........focus on your damned dog, since it is your character, and you can decide whether or not it had sex with a Gerudo too.....

Forever Zero 05-26-2004 02:48 PM

Actually you're both wrong, it's Elminster's call since it is his RP...

IHateMakingNames 05-26-2004 02:50 PM

But. the chances of Elmister agreeing with me are more likely then him agreeing with Zoam.

Edit - And DB, it doesn't really have to do with his character, just the NPC he is mentioning. His character (Potentionally) happens to be invovled with them.

Dragonsbane 05-26-2004 03:13 PM

IHMN, I agree with you that what Zoam is suggesting is highly unlikely, but it isn't your job to point that out.......it's Zoam's character and Elminster's RP.

IHateMakingNames 05-26-2004 03:19 PM

But I am part of the RP, and I think RPs should have some consistency in them. I feel it is my job to point out flaws and mistakes of other peoples characters incase the GM didn't notice.

slightly aboveaverage man 05-26-2004 03:36 PM

...which can lead to confrontations. it really bursts peoples bubbles when someone pokes holes in things they create.

Dragonsbane 05-26-2004 03:37 PM

I've noticed.........but would you mind pointing them out in a less objectionable fashion? Suggesting changes is often better than dictating them.

slightly aboveaverage man 05-26-2004 03:37 PM

agreed. less friction = happy RPers.

AndyBloodredMage 05-26-2004 04:24 PM

Actually, if you're pointing out inconsistencies, IHMN, you're playing a sentient dire wolf. Just food for thought.

IHateMakingNames 05-26-2004 04:29 PM

Your point being? Canines are capable of obeying a master (Link in my wolf's case), and he was given more thinking abilities from the Great Fairy (And Elminster approved of this).

Edit - And if you think about it, it makes sense. Link is his master, so he obeys Link. So, the wolf would think Link should have rule over all, like himself.

AndyBloodredMage 05-26-2004 04:51 PM

I'm just saying that let's compare the odds off a wolf being granted sentience, and a person scoring with a gerudo and living to tell the tale. Maybe it was a gerudo who wandered into town for a fair after being outcast from her tribe for whatever reason. She was deeply depressed and had a night of passion with whoever it is.

Dragonsbane 05-26-2004 04:56 PM

Andy raises a much better point than I did, and I am in complete agreement.........after all, an outcast Gerudo is no less likely than a sentient Dire Wolf.

Just out of curiosity, does Wolf still think like a dog?

an intelligent Hyrulian mind in a strong and powerful Dire Wolf body (especially a "macked-out" one) sounds rather godmodish.....
