Do another FF1 comic.

I'm truly sick of everybody imitating evil BM and Sword-Chuck Fighter.
Make up some new characters, make a new and original thing, separate from the ultrapowerful 8-bit regime.

Of course, you'll have to do an outstanding job. You have majority against you, and, lets face it, 8-Bit is a dang good comic.
But some competition would be rather cool.
Besides, I really like Final Fantasy. I want more sites referring to it. Instead of 7 (Good God! 7!)

So you have my thought on it. Utilize FF1.

(Also, everybody is so gung ho on all the other FFs. Despite 8-Bit, FF1 still turns out to be a more original idea. Or maybe you should shoot for FF2j?)

IF your gonna do FF do somethign that nobody has done before...

First, for your first quote you might want to go to www.chaostemple.net if you want a somewhat new ff1 comic thing. Now, second I just wanted to see if anyone would have any better ideas that dosent come from my crazy head.

Now for that one website i refered, I wanted to make a bunch of movies about it but it just started and dosent have many comics so really couldnt. Its pretty different from 8-bit theater so I thought it was good. So I'm just waiting for the creator to get to 30 comics.

Er, dude... It ain't much different from 8-Bit.
We got a sadistic black mage who wants the WM. We have the stupid Fighter. An annoying RM, and a witty, cocky ass thief who, basically, he plays the 8-Bit BB roll, except he isn't necessarilly stupid.
Already, these characters are fully developed because the writer knows that webcomic readers read 8-bit. This gets rid of a lot of work, and it trashes a whole lot more credibility.
This isn't new or original. This is used up.
AND, if these characters are going to change and become original, it was a foolish idea to start them off as 8-bit offspring.

The only thing about the comic that really breaks away from 8-Bit is the Van Gogh. I don't recall Brian using the same Van Gogh painting for all of his backgrounds.

Otherwise, there's a lot of FF1 info that seems to be ripped from FF Classics and then uses the Origins graphics.

It's not impressive. Not to me.

So, I challenge you to use some creativity and make an FF1 based comic that doesn't steal 80% (Or more) from 8-Bit.
That is, of course, if you're preparing to do your own thing. I don't know exactly what role you're playing here, but it seems like you're already involved with Chaos Temple. My advice is that you defect now.

Note: I almost forgot. The Temple music in FF1 is totally awesome. Both temples, in fact. And the water shrine. And lots more. I am absolutely infatuated with FF1 music. And I only know the nes versions!

Edit: You could have a flash where they're all dancing to their music...

Gunner 11B, I'm not sure if I should give you large wads of cash to thank you for all the advertising or give you even more cash for those guest comics.

Martyr, if you read on, Black Mage makes peace with White Mage. Later in the series you'll learn that Black Mage isn't all that evil, Thief will be usefull. I admit to having started them off as 8-BT characters, just to have something to start with. I wanted to put starry night to get people to expect a love scene between the two mages. The reason the background is the same is because they haven't moved. I don't know about anybody else, but I quite enjoy hurting Red Mage, which is why he did not join them. I also quite enjoyed using the Monty Python spanish inquisition sketch. Keep your pants on, I'll try to diverge my comic from 8-BT, it's been my goal from the start. In english: I ACCEPT YOUR CHALLENGE! And I'M the writer/creator/basicaly-everything-since-my-colleague-never-helps-out of Chaos Temple. ME. I am Webmaster Garland, which raises further question: How will the fight with Garland go? I'm not about to let myself be wounded by my own characters!

Thank you for your music commentary. I love the origins version of the Chaos Temple theme, but I couldn't get the origins music. Poop.

EDIT: Gunner, if you want to do a flash of my comics, do 1-14, not icluding guest strips and filler. 30 is 16 strips away and I've hit another writters block. Maybe I'll have some fun with Blue Mage.

Y'know....you could make a movie in which a powerful Black Wizard called "Dragonsbane" defeats every FF hero ever in an epic battle involving lots of magic and cool music.......Dragonsbane should look exactly like my avatar, and be able to blow up entire planets! *is NOT blatantly using other people to produce cool movies about himself!*

on a more serious note, froofmyster, does the Garland in your comic have an expensive and rare tropical fish which, coincidentally, happens to taste very good after getting the business end of a Firaga spell?

Froomyster Ill do that but I'd like it if more people knew about the site before I make the flash video so that people know what the heck I'm doing. I think it can be pretty good with the vision I have in my mind. and you can do one of the voices for the movie if its possible for you(I call fighter) and I'll give you most of the credit for the idea.

and dragonbane, your idea gives me great insperation but the fact is who has ever heard of a black, black mage?? (hehe blow up planetes)

it's an Ultra-black mage! Or a Black Archwizard.

I have no idea why but that is probably the 2nd best idea on this thread yet. Something tells me this can be cool with all the explosions I can put in it. Just for your enjoyment I'll make a small version of what you might want. Just give me sprites. For now im just gonna wait for froofmyster to get more people on his site then ill make the flash movie thats based on his comics.

Well, by making a flash, you'd be getting me more publicity. We can work together on it. Not in person, of course. Have you seen my first completed flash? It's on the thread entitled "my first completed flash" in the animation section.
