I just love the way cutscenes in this game force you to walk straight into the wide open room that's obviously a trap, despite playing as a stealth character.

Just how can Barrett sneak up on you anyway? He looks like he's seven feet tall, and 500 pounds, at least!
Cutscene incompetence is one of my biggest complaints about this game, despite having a ton of fun with it overall.

It would be really cool of a game to give you entrance options into cutscenes. Stealth has you skulking behind crates, and you start any encounter hidden or at least with cover. Direct encounter could give you more dialogue options sometimes, or maybe an extra moment of weakness.

Of course, it's not like there's much stealth at all in any of the cutscenes that lead to fights. A little in the final boss, maybe.

I liked how in mass effect you could sometimes skip a cutscene by sniping the NPC before you were close enough for it to trigger

Jensen throws the best partieshttp://cloud.steampowered.com/ugc/54...B4EC96D2D87AB/

Took me at least a half hour to get all the bodies in the chairs positioned right.

does taking the "fourth" option disqualify you for pasifist...also does putting in the codes in H disqualify you?

Oh my god I am so dumb what the hell. I used the code on the final boss. That probably counted as three kills right there. I never thought twice about it (at that point I just wanted to finish up the playthrough. I didn't even bother finding Sarif or Taggart before going to the final boss. Goddammit gonna go test this right now.

e- Oh my god I'm tired and dumb. Boss fights don't count kills.

e2- Though I did find out that the Laser Rifle is great for cheesing the final boss. What's that? You're hiding behind some incredibly resilient glass? Well I can shoot through anything

OK is knocking some guards out and leting them fry on the last boss disqualify you for pasifist. I am trying to figure out where the fuck i lost it! because i have only used tazers and peps the entire game.

It's a boss fight so it shouldn't count the kills. Probably had that "knocked out guy ends up dying later on" glitch/feature (gleature?) thing that apparently happened to me.

I think the only reliable way to get the achievement is to just ghost your way through without interacting with anyone.

DXHR DLC ANNOUNCED

The Deus Ex: Human Revolution conspiracy grows deeper in The Missing Link. During lead character Adam Jensen's quest for the truth in Deus Ex: Human Revolution, he mysteriously vanishes for three days. Where was he? What did he find out? The Missing Link reveals it all.

"We are very excited for Deus Ex: Human Revolution fans to be able to complete Adam's journey in the game with The Missing Link DLC," said David Anfossi, producer of Deus Ex: Human Revolution at Eidos-Montreal. "Gamers will be able to experience a vulnerable side of Adam like never before, which gives the overall game a whole new dimension. The Missing Link propels players into compelling gameplay, beginning with Adam being stripped of his use of augmentations, new, visually stunning environments and the continuation of Deus Ex: Human Revolution's conspiracy rich story."

After being tortured by Belltower agents and having his augmentations disabled, Adam Jensen must rely solely on his basic capabilities to escape from a freighter, destined for an unknown location. While fighting for his survival on the ship, he uncovers another layer to the conspiracy that he never would have suspected. As Adam, gamers will befriend new, mysterious allies and fight ruthless enemies to discover what was happening in the shadows during the events of Deus Ex: Human Revolution!

I think it's only the bosses THEMSELVES that don't count. Computer girls probably count as a part of the boss, but the crazies who attack you most likely don't.

They don't really matter though, as you don't get experience (and thus shouldn't get credit) if they die to the electrified floor. Which they will if they come out of their holes. So you only need to deal with them at all if you forgot to bring a gun or something.

Edit: I figured he was sleeping in the stasis pod he climbed into, but okay, DLC.

Ok, I have no idea what happened on the final boss. I had the laser rifle, and ran around pushing those red buttons a few times, then decided to get behind cover and fry the turrets. I hacked some security panel and opened a door, and then fried the final boss for a few seconds. That's it? It took me a few tries to realize I could kill the turrets, but I felt like I was missing something.
