Forum [Internet] Love Stories
We have all heard the horror stories on the news and in the paper. But how about we talk about the positives of where people meet online and even get married/engaged. Please post your comments and/or stories.
I wont post mine, yet :p |
In the golden days of go-gaia.com met somebody, been happy for one year and three months now.

Well as most people know, the happiness between Shiney and RaiRai is one shining (pardon the pun) example of this. Also, my friend at gamefaqs forum says that a similar event has happened over there.
|
I am a living example. I currently live with my fiance, who I met on TDZK, the game that you can see pasted all over my forum account.
We're happy together, and we lived 15 hours away from each other, and 7 states, when we first met. =) V.T. |
Shiney lives in Minnesota USA. I live in Bristol UK. We've been together for almost two years now thanks to 8bit theater bringing us together.

The girl that I've been dating with the past 4 years and I are finnaly engaged! I can lie and say that it was a magical moment when we meet but I'd prefer not to tell you all where we meet. besides I bet a few people here know the story.

Congrats, Halerthorn!

I haven't heard the story, Halerthorn........please, enlighten those of us who are ignorant of it! On a side note.......you don't have to reveal specific places, any of you, though you can if you want to.

My story isn't so happy =/
Met a guy on TripleTriad.com almost 4 years ago now; we were together for 3 and a half years. We met in person a year after we met online, and things went well for a while. It wasn't the distance that killed the relationship though... I live in WA just south of Seattle, and he lived near 100 Mile House in BC. Not that bad of a distance. Ya might say the distance saved me... We always bickered about the future (what college I'd go to, how either of us would get dual-citizenship, etc.) and if we hadn't been from different countries, I probably would never have been able to break away from that dying relationship. It also kept me on the computer all the time, away from the real world. Moral of the story: No more online dating for me. |
