Over-rated
 

What are some over-rated that you have played...Or, what is a game that many other people like, but you hate?

Final Fantasy X
Halo

FFX

All the Tekken ones (round here everyone likes them.. they suck)
Any racing game (seriously.. l a m e)

FFX was good, but wasn't as good as everyone makes it out to be. FFVII was much better.

Halo was overrated.

Vice City wasn't as good as it could have been. GTA3 was great, but VC just didn't improve it much.

FFX...never really played it much, just a little on friends ps2, but besides the flashy graphics i didnt get that urge to play 12 hours without moving like i did with FF7.
The Sims...yecch! make it die! and die again!

Counter-Strike...fun to pass time, but id rather play Jedi Academy!

heh, halo multiplayer on xbox is just goldeneye with shiny graphics...singleplayer is only good on pc, with mouse aim.

ive never even seen a screenshot of ddr, but ill agree for the sole reason that "dance dance" does not belong on the title of a video game.

and if you play PC, vice city did improve it, or the hackers that made the multiplayer patch did. Brings back memories of good old GTA 1.

GTA3 also ran like shit on pc, cuz it was ported from ps2, vice city was developed independently for each system.

True Crime: Streets of LA - heheh, Vice City in Los Angeles....who cares.

I loved FFX. Yes Lulu...cast that Ultima...yes. Ahem. I think GTA:Vice City was sort of Lame and Star Wars Galaxies should burn in the Abyss for Eternity!..or atleast until they work a few things out first. You know, whichever comes first.

Halo is great for multiplayer ( mouse aim is teh shit ), but it lacks in its innovation. Just the same damn thing as UT2k3 or Q3 Arena, only a newer version for the PC.

True Crime - Come on, this game doesnt even begin to address reality even though the name imply's it. Gay.

One major title comes to mind.

And there's others:

-Counter-Strike - played it a year but its nothing to pass up other games for.
-Halo - Seriously, to me it feels like Tribes 2 with all ground vehicles, better graphics and a big controller...
-I'd say DDR because truly...you're using your feet on basically a giant D-Pad to 'dance'.....sorry, you're not dancing. As its been proven with the home version, you can do the same thing with your fingers on a controller D-Pad...much faster and skilfully at that. -_-

I can't really thikn of any others. I can counter the FFX comments however because there's a bunch of people who don't like FFX. Therefore its not really over-rated in my view. In fact, I don't know many people who like it enough for me to say they are over-rating it. Not compared to say FFVI or VII. But I think its a great game.

You should do one of these for Anime in the Animation thread. I have a ton of things to say in there...
