SUPER DETECTIVE MYSTERY ADVENTURE THREAD

Guys, we have a pressing matter that I'm sure you all want to get to the bottom of. Our forums were running like normal one day, and then suddenly something crept it and began acting like it had been here for years. This thread is to get to the bottom of a great and mysterious mystery. A mystery so mysterious that it could only be described as a SUPER ADVENTURE MYSTERY. And who better to solve a SUPER ADVENTURE MYSTERY than a SUPER ADVENTURE MYSTERY DETECTIVE? The mystery of... WHO AND/OR WHAT is Betty Elms?

I have several theories so far. One is that she/he/it is a sort of internet doppelganger here to pretend to be one of us and then use the rest of us for its EVIL THINGS that it plans.

Alternately, Betty Elms may not be a living thing at all, but rather a rogue sentience, a sort of artificial intelligence, being held in a government lab somewhere but only able to communicate like a normal person by reaching out through the internets.

He/she/it could even be a sort of thought-form produced by all our many, many, many, many years of calling Brian Clevinger an ass.

Clearly this is a giant mystery only suitable for a Super Detective Mystery Adventure, and we will not rest until we have undeniable proof that Betty Elms is not an evil robot bent on blending in and then ensuring our forums destruction! I, detective Pippin T. Boyd, will get to the bottom of this! I am calling on all of my fellow SUPER ADVENTURE MYSTERY DETECTIVES to help! You may take our lives Betty Elms, but you will not take our Internets!

I kinda think betty elms has got enough attention for now. She is a pretty cool gal, we all agree. But this is getting less 'flattering' and more 'obsessive'. Let's give her some space.

I hope the rest of you lazy good-for-nothing ex-ADVENTURE MYSTERY DETECTIVES can learn something from Ocelot's shining example.
