They're pretty old. I got them from an Army surplus store about five years ago, and even then they were ancient -- pre-Vietnam make (you can tell by the lack of steel plating in the soles to prevent pungee stick injury). I wouldn't lick them for a hundred dollars -- but you filthy mongrel-race swine will do it for free and enjoy it, nicht wahr?
