the advancing of gaming graphics and technology with regard to breast physics..
i don't mean this to be perverse or anything but doesn't it seem strange that as 'certain' games are made into sequels that the women have certain 'physical attributes' that defy many laws?

I don't know too many games whose sequels exist just for making reasts defy the laws of gravity or proportion. I mean, in most game series, the first game already starts out that way. Dead or Alive, Tomb Raider, and some others. Yeah, it's not too new. It's been around just slightly less than the 3D gaming industry has. And I think that started in, what '96?

Well, I don't play too many games where these things have been a major theme, but its been odd. When Dead or Alive 1 came out, it was just plain disturbing what was going on. Those things were like water or something... But then since then, DOA2 and 3 have been kinda easing up on the amount of how much they 'move' and making it somewhat less noticable (although still noticable). I think its because the characters keep continuing to become more realistic looking and so they want to incorperate everything to be more realistic.
But then you have a game like Soul Calibur..... Soul Calibur I was really not much. Less than any of the Dead or Alive games. But then I NO idea what happened in Soul Calibur 2. Taki is just like....geez. A little fake, I think so. Now, from my views, I mostly only play fighting games where these things are implemented. So obviously, in a fighting game...they are going to bounce or however you want to say it...more than usual. I know many girls who scoff and make fun of games like Dead or Alive for how much the girls chests 'move' but in all reality, I think they probably would do that.... When Ayane is flipping over someones head or Hitomi is punching someone in the face....I think you get the idea. Big talk is always made of this subject and I actually wrote quite a bit on it. -_- But seriously, alot of character designers for these games I think are some of the smartest people in the buisness. Sex sells...we all know that 100%. So what better way to sell a fighter than having girls....who are rather well endowed....moving alot. Maybe it accounts for the popularity of games such as Dead or Alive, Soul Calibur and SNK/Capcom 2D Fighters over say...Virtual Fighter and in recent times, Tekken. ::cough:: maybe. |

And so I have. Calloo and callay! |

I like Taki and use her. One of my favorite characters. But they just exaggerated her to like....water status. |

Anyway, Kasumi dressed a little less than Taki did. And if you put Taki in her second outfit, she don't bounce. |
*points to the PC Gamer preview of Half Life 2, where one paragraph was spent detailing the new muscle/skeletal effects, such as raising the arms, and the breasts on the female lead flatten because the muscles are programmed to work that way*

I read that. PC gamer is t3h shit. And you can't really make games more realistic and leave out body animations, and then there's just that undeniable urge that companies have to put well-endowed women in every game.

HL2's physics system will almost certainly be the most spectacular we've seen ever before, whether you're making reference to certain body parts or to whole bodies flying around the room from a rocket launcher shot.
