So San Diego Comic Con is a bust, what are the good East Coast Con options again?

So, it took me nearly a half hour to get into the virtual waiting room, and after waiting an hour, I ended up with nadda.

I likely will check out NYCC again this year, since its close to home & I thought it pretty nifty.

Still, what other good go-to events are going on? Figure I'll just look closer to home, and concentrate on the East Coast ones this year.

Thanks in advance.

- Admittedly, I should have thought to ask if anyone else was hitting SDCC, since the way things were set up, groups had a definite advantage.

Well, there's NYCC like you mentioned and Boston Comic Con(April 11-12). Not much else I can say in the matter since I've never been to it.

So I find out after the fact that the link (for tickets) in the official e-mail from SDCC didn't work, so it's no wonder I could get any passes. Ah well, but still sucks all around.

There's PAX East, also in Boston, also in April. From what I've heard the 3-day passes sold out forever ago though.
