Actually, split screen monologues going off simultaneously would be pretty funny. Nevermind.

I am a little concerned about Max Payne 3. Don't get me wrong, I love the MP series, but... just what is there left to do? And who hasn't Payne killed?

I'm confused as to how the Inner Circle will play into this plot but since most of the previews show him battling armed security in a large skyscraper type building at some point I'm presuming that the Inner Circle will indeed play into this. OR maybe it is a Brazilian Inner Circle? An Inner Brazircle, if you will.

Man, you are in for a treat. I can't think of a game with a better plot/acting than Max Payne 2, though I suppose some equal it.

Make sure to watch the TV shows playing in the environments as you play through the games, they're worth it.

I also recommend PC versions because man it just plays so much better. I'm actually kind of annoyed at my crappy computer, because I will probably end up playing the console version now, and the PC version much later in life like with the originals.

Be weary. Gameplay has, charitably said, not aged well.

But hey, I put up with Legacy of Kain's meh gameplay for it's fantastic everything else, so take that what you will.

Eh? Gameplay still seems pretty good to me, if overly scripted (you'll notice enemies always do the same thing every single time you enter a room, for instance, if you play it through more than once, but at least it makes it pretty cinematic and given to skill-based memorization)...though I have to admit I haven't really played many modern FPSes. I dunno, I just have rose tinted glasses for this series, I guess.

If the gameplay hasn't aged well, I will be suuuuure to bitch about it like a little spoiled bitch here at the first opportunity. I did pick up the PC versions for both a while back, so I'm all set.
