Colour Scheme Suggestion

Can there be a colour scheme option in your profile (like weebls-stuff forums)? Because this dark gray/blue scheme is kinda depressing. And it makes my eyes hurt. I'd prefer orange or green or something.

Melfice 05-31-2004 05:55 AM

And the combination of orange and green wouldn't hurt your eyes?

I say we stay the same. Just as Ford(the car-designer.) once said: "You can have any colour you want, as long as it's black."

And in case of these forums: a slight hint of blue also.

I didn't mean orange and green! I was merely using them as examples. oh well. i suppose I'll just have to turn the brightness up on my monitor.

You realize that when Chevy came out with colored cars, they became more popular than Ford's black-only models. Not to be picky or anything, but the same may be true here for some people. I personally think the black and blue look is a little to gothy for a forum about brightly-colored sprites. That's just my opinion, but change can be a good thing.

Yes, we can travel into advertising history and witness the booming success of color variations in formerly simple goods.

As far as this forum, have you given any thought to how the current color scheme is exactly the same as the rest of Nuklear Power? You know, the whole idea of having a site remain consistent is something most webmasters think about it when designing things.

There is nothing wrong with these colors, especially considering how they are exactly as they should be here at Nuklear Power.

That is your opinion. My opinion is that my eyes begin to hurt after staring between the black background and the white text box several times. In all seriousness, this is a forum about brightly-colored characters, yet there is no distinctive color in the threads unless you change the font color or add one of these cute little guys :bmage:.

I find white text on a black background much easier on the eyes then the other way around.

BM isn't a brightly colored person. Anyway, I like this, darkness works for me.

Forever Zero 06-07-2004 11:43 PM

I find the dark colors to be very soothing, and don't think it bothers my eyes at all. But then I like dark, plain colors more then bright, flashy colors, so the current color scheme sits well with me.

Perhasp the option to display the forum in the color scheme of your choice. I'm not sure anybody would want to do the programing for it though. Just a suggestion.
