Hey cool.

Mayhap I can convince my brother to buy it at this price, so we can repeatedly kill each other in co-op.

I got it for free (yay contests!) and am interested in a science buddy for this weekend.

I still need to finish the coop, for what it's worth.

*Maybe* I'll get it now. But I still cannot play it yet.

Anyone who hasn't played Portal 2 yet should get it. It is fantastic. Amazing story, top-notch writing and voice acting with some fantastic lines, super fun puzzles, and some cameos from the previous Portal game, plus the co-op is hilarious and incredibly fun, although depending on your sense of humor it may strain some friendships (Oh whooooops, did I just accidentally drop you into a vat of corrosive goo again? Silly me!)

That doesn't sound too different from our L4D2 sheannigans

"What do you mean friendly fire isn't friendly?"

"I just shot the car with a glowy red light, why are you mad at me?"

"Woops, sorry about dropping that molotov on our feet"

So, those who coop Portal 2 will be fine :P

Coincidentally, the newest DLC just dropped today: The Perpetual Testing Initiative.

Which is Aperture Marketing-Talk for "Build your own test chamber".

You forgot the "Flare's a Tank now, stay away from the cars!" bit from way back.

40 seconds of browsing the Portal 2 Steam Workshop gave me 25 custom maps to play. I don't think I will ever run out of ways to think with portals.
