Ilral was pleased with the news that one of the new migrants had taken their crossbow to one of the harassing Elk Birds. He was less pleased that he had to send the militia to deal with the leftovers, but them's the breaks.

The booze situation had officially gone critical. Two carpenters just wasn't cutting it, Ilral needed more to produce enough barrels so the booze could get brewing again.

Erib came into Ilral's office short of breath. "Erib, I was just about to send for you. Who do you think would be the best choice to aid you in the workshops?"

Definitely flat-screen, it's emaciated. Plus it comes with a keyboard and a set of knockout fumes, along with huge mandibles to hold you in place while you surf the web.

I'll give you one guess as to the type of fumes the forgotten beastie had.

And then I'll tell you anyways.

The instantly necrotic kind.

I was fine holing up where I was but then some IDIOT opened the door and the beast ripped it right off the hinges

I sent the wave of beard I had at the beast

and it killed them all.

While that was going on, a trade caravan showed up, spotted some goblins, and the goblins got a kill.

Thus ruining my chances of trade and my relations with my own starter civ.

To make matters worse, the diplomat decided to punch the beast and got melted for his troubles.

To top this shitstorm of awful, I decided to get drunk during this and play like a true dorf.

Taking drinks for every dorf that died and every stupid thing the dorfs did.

I don't feel so great now.

I pose to you all a question:

Do I Reclaim and try to drive off the necrotic horror, or do I try to set up shop somewhere else?
