Page 157!
SPIN! This scene will read a lot better (hopefully) once all the pages of it have been posted. (that's the problem with action scenes like this) |

Erin just turned up last night in the comic's timeline, right? So I wouldn't expect her to know much about Jeanne. |
I doubt Erin would still be sticking around Jeanne if she didn't previously know her, what with her assignment getting her shot in the head and all.
Also if I'm not mistaken Liz had prior knowledge of Erin as well, so there's that. |
I'm going to start trying to do a better job of explaining details EARLY rather than putting them off till later :D
I have an explanation for just about everything, but I'm not keen on infodumping so I tend to avoid giving out information until I feel the moment is right for it. |
Kit's CQC experience is showing here. She moves under Jeanne's blow, gets behind her, and turns to face her using the spinning momentum to bring her gun about, all in one fluid movement. Very nice.

"I lay a hand on you and you are one dead little girl."
"So lay a hand on me." :3 |

Keep in mind, Kit only gets 5 more shots. With Jeanne being as fast as she is, there is no way she'll be able to reload a revolver and dodge those punches at the same time.
If the Dreadful requires any concentration at all to summon, she won't be able to do that either. I don't doubt her abilities in your standard hand-to-hand bar room brawl, but evidence suggests this is anything but. She looks like she's just barely keeping up. In other words, Kit has five more chances to end this duel in her favor. Six if she can summon the Dreadful and keep dodging at the same time. After that she's screwed. |
