So, finishing up my Planetside 2 download, my plan is to get a long stride in the game this weekend, see what it has to offer as much as i can.

From what i saw and read about it, the game has a lot of positives and a lot of microtransaction overpriced bullshit for cosmetic stuff. Which is fine, really...

It also tells me that i can be a pilot of huge ships battling overhead on the battlefield of battling battle. While also working as a dropship.

So that's what i'm going for!

So, who else is down there on the planetside? Tell me what you know, and what faction should i join to help/kill you on the battlefield?

Also, a Nuklear Power Force squad would be very much welcomed. But from what i read on this game, the best voice option is a separate squad-only 3rd party system, cause the ingame one is kinda shitty and spammy.

Game seems like a system hog, hope my rig can take it.

The game has terrible optimization right now, it is unplayable on my system and I meet more then optimal requirements for it.

Karesh who as about the same specs, has 0 problems though so I am pretty sure it is a coin flip.

I'm 'TheLlamaReborn' on server Jaegar, Vanu empire. Got a small outfit going right now but we have a good time.

The differences from the original game sounded very disappointing to me at first, but I am actually kinda glad they changed the class system the way they did. In case you don't know what I mean, the original basically had you develop your own class with the certs.

Now you buy certs in a framework to customize a preset class. It makes it kind of hard to waste upgrades if you like doing a certain thing. I think this is a good thing, although I haven't found a reliable way to mimic my particularly trollish way of playing from the first game. Yet.

I have the game downloaded and installed, but I haven't really played it yet since the beta. I guess I can abandon my usual NC colors for you guys, I mean shooting metal via compressed gas is so last week anyway.
