Knights of the Old FARTZ

I'm thinking of playing KOTOR again, because I never beat it the first time.

What mods should I get? I don't want story mods. Only mods that fix bugs, improve graphics, improve performance, or tweak the gameplay in ways that are Good.

HAVE AT YOU

just to be clear, we talking about the original, sequel, or a run of both?

Just, as a public service announcement: If you read this title in a thick British accent, it gets much funnier.

Original. I know there's a mod out there that's supposed to make KOTOR 2 complete.

Geminex 12-13-2012 03:24 AM

There's actually several, which are themselves in varying states of completeness.

But the original, as I remember it, was actually well-designed and not really that buggy at all. I never really bothered modding it.

I don't like fartz

CABAL49 12-13-2012 09:12 AM

Smarty you're fartz.

Also, I never really modded KOTOR that much except for a few sidequests to add in. I guess the graphics have aged a bit haven't they.

Do you want me to read it out a few times on Skype?

Solid Snake 12-13-2012 11:59 AM

I'd recommend a Dark Side KOTOR playthrough and a Light Side KOTOR2 playthrough.
Beyond that, just be aware that Taris in the original KOTOR drags on and on for millennia. I tried replaying KOTOR about eight months ago and couldn't make it beyond the Taris underworld.

And we all know how much Kim loves Taris.
