Well it looks like nintendo REALLY wants to sell some WiiU's up in this bitch...

So, Persona Vs Fire Emblem... how you suppose this one is going to work? Fire Emblem Gameplay with Persona mechanics!?

Not sure how to take this in. I guess it could be alright if the writing staff isn't Atlus.

Shin Megami Tensei does not equal Persona. They might as well be different franchises at this point really.

Atlus isn't any good at making SRPGs so I don't exactly have high hopes for this.

Agreed. But apparently devil survivor was successful, so I don't know how much is this an opinion and how much is it an actual thing.

I wouldn't be shocked if Persona characters showed up in cameos, because they're by far and wide the most popular Atlus has.
That being said, I can't say I'm the slightest bit interested in purchasing this or a Wii U. The trailer wasn't much to get excited over.

I really need to learn a bit more about this franchise...

Well, i really enjoyed Fire Emblem on the Wii... although Graphically outdated, was a really fun game. Even if a bit Binary and not as open as i would like, it was still quite good...

This is just a teaser though, so i'm still looking curious about this one for now... they are really trying to get a solid grip with the WiiU before the next Xbox and PS console come around...

I don't even know anymore . . . and while we're at it where's my GTA X Pokemon game? They might as well start mixing at random at this point.

Well at least these are both RPGs to start with. I think Street Fighter X Megaman was a crazier idea.

Clearly the universes for these are vastly different, though.

Ike vs the Demi Fiend. I wants cutscenes nao! NOOOOOOOOOWWW!

I do expect the Fire Emblem guys to be all "Hey, if we all stick together as allied hearts, nothing is impossible!"

And the Shin Megami Tensei guys to be all "Life is an existential quandary, torn between two conflicting ideas. What is meaning? What is the point of existence? Do we construct order and definition to shield us from the unyielding chaos of the universe, or do we surrender to it?"

And then Luisfe goes "Wait what?"

And I wonder if the Demifiend bumps into Aleph/Hawk and asks him if he's ever worked as a journalist and gone by the name Hijiri or something.
