So it's Valentine's day, or "All hearts' day" here in Sweden. Figure we need a thread to share our expectations/adventures/misadventures/misery.

For whom does your heart ache? Why for does it sing? Any stories related to emotion are on topic!

I'll share something to start with: In my 32 years I've never given or received a card on this day. Nor any kind of affection beyond the daily norm. If this holiday has a spirit, it has never moved me.

Hearts are for attacks.

I'm making stuff in Twine for all my Valentines.

Valentine's Day AKA Singles Awareness Day, am I right? I believe I remember another quote and I forget where it came from: "Just remember, nobody loves you on any other day of the year either." Sounds sad, but it's hilarious to me and I'm still single.

Everyone celebrating Valentine's day is actually celebrating my birthday, even if they don't know it.

Pyros mixes tears with Sun drop and the leftover remnants of wine from New Years to make a highly unsatisfying cocktail, not dissimilar to Pyros's love life.

I got a friend hanging out with me and _mike today. He said his girlfriend was cool with them not doing anything today. He's so, so wrong.

Snake quit a few days ago, blues hasn't been around for years, and there's no one else who really 'makes' these threads, therefore this thread won't even be funny this year.

So disappointing.

Why would his girlfriend be mad at him for not hanging out with her on February 13th?
