Save Young Justice/Green Lantern with your Wallet

So apparently their is a Kickstarter type project to save YJ/GL.

Only 2% funded so far & 84 days to go.

That's 0.2% there Sky.

For the record, Young Justice seemed all right.

No wonder these shows need funding. They are all so bad.

Crap, you're right. Still, any plink in the coffers helps. And while they use Paypal, the site says your card won't be charged until they receive full funding.

Yeah, even I had cash to spare, I still wouldn't be pouring it into this. Don't get me wrong, I like YJ and GLTAS. It just that, y'know, the curse of Weisman can never be broken. Ever. Never ever. And I'm pretty sure DC isn't so hot with the Green Lantern property after that sinker of a movie.

Also, have any of these 100% funded shows actually been brought back yet? I ask this because I really like Motorcity and it's reached 104%.

I'm really not certain how this works just yet. I've only heard about this group thanks to YJ. And yeah, I suspect this won't see the light of day, since I think they need 10 million in total, but since you won't be charged, unless they get all of the monies, putting down $5 doesn't seem like much.

Ten million dollars? Are they insane?

I like Young Justice as much as the next guy but if you can get ten million dollars of privately funded cash to resurrect a cartoon you should go into collecting money for cancer research.

Here is my issue with this as a concept. You ask me to give you money to keep a show on the air. Then if you get enough, you are then going to still make me sit through commercials and buy DVDs. So you are essentially asking me to pay you, to try and sell me something.

I don't think you quite understand Kickstarter.

I know usually getting the item for free is among the incentives, but weren't you guys saying this wasn't an actual kickstarter
