JAQ Anniversary Poster and Book Preorders
 

First off, I put this in General so that it'd attract attention, but if a mod feels it should be somewhere else, I'll demure.

Today was JAQ's Anniversary! So to commemorate, I have for sale some brand new art by the talented Zack Finfrock!

At the same time, I will be using this to take pre-orders for the JAQ book! It will be about 180 pages, close to eighty of which are jam packed with bonus features. We're talking a forward, introduction, afterward, full commentary on every single comic, brand new art by me all throughout, full character bios, a complete guide to cameos, a guide to pop-culture references, the original full-story outline from 2005, sample script pages, a huge section of related bonus comics and art--some of it never before seen--and MORE. All of this on top of all 100 comics, all with the alt-text I wrote for them in 2010, plus the first five comics have been completely remade from scratch to bring them in line with the format of the others.

Here's how it works. For a donation of Any Money, one US dollar and up, you get the JAQ Anniversary Image wallpaper, which I will format initially to 1920x1080, and then to other resolutions as they are requested. These will go out starting tomorrow. You will also receive, completely free, a PDF copy of the JAQ book! The book is currently tracking for a Christmas release. For the time being, buying a wallpaper will be the only way to get the book.

For $12 and up, you will receive the wallpaper and a gorgeous 11"x17" poster of the art (which will look something like that top image). You will also get the free PDF book! Unfortunately, international shipping is ka~razy, and if you don't happen to reside in the United States, you'll need to add an additional $10 for postage. :( Posters will ship starting next month.

Seriously, though, look how amazing it looks. You want this on your wall.

If you would like to donate $45 or more, I could possibly maybe magically make a physical copy of the JAQ book appear alongside your poster later this year as a thank you for your generosity. Again, an extra $10 for international though.

Almost forgot, I also have available, for the first time anywhere online since 2007, the audio soundtrack that was made to accompany JAQ comic 50! (It has not aged well to my ears, but whatevs.) You can listen to it here!

Okay, so IC asked me about signatures, and yes, I will sign and personalize any physical books. Maybe even posters, if you want that.

Spent most of today fiddling with Photoshop and I think I've got the final wrap-around cover done for the book. It's a little different than the previous mock up, but not too much so. I'll probably use the other one for the PDF version.

Thankfully the printer is going to re-print them and handle the claim with UPS. So now I just have to wait anther week to get my next--hopefully undamaged--shipment.

Man that blows. Still, I'm glad you are able to get it resolved without incident.

Came home from work today to find a package full of lovely, undamaged new posters!

Special shout-out to Same Day Printing, who, even though they were not at fault, quickly reprinted my order (even allowing me to tweak the colors first!) and took care of the damage claim with UPS so that I wouldn't have to. A+ customer service.

My poster just arrived in the mail yesterday. It's wonderful.

I think I need to find more things to hang up on my wall.
