Here's the thing: I haven't gotten repped in forever. And I'm amazing! I should be repped for every post! So what's going on?

Is it a forum thing? Have we banned or silenced all the reppers? (Because my theory is that we've banned all the extroverts and the loudmouths who actually had dissenting opinions and made conversation so now all that we're left with is me, who is amazing, and a few people who are almost as amazing and some people who don't even talk at all and can't be amazing because they don't give themselves a chance to shine.

But I am comedy gold! Okay, maybe not that Zanzibar thread.

Or that other news thread.

Or that one post.

But the rest? Amazing.

So how come nobody talks anymore? We're all just sitting here, agreeing with each other. "Oh that's awful." or "You go, girlfriend!" (Which is a very versatile phrase, don't you know.)

So here's the thing. We all have to do something rep-worthy. We have to tell a joke, we have to do a little song or dance, post a picture of a meal we made that was delicious (along with a recipe.) You could do what I'm doing, and show off your moves on the stripper pole:

This forum is afraid of me... I have seen its true face. The threads are made by posters and the posters are full of gems and when the reputation scores reset, all the hoarders will feel down. The accumulated mire of all their words and funny pictures will foam up around their waists and all the loudmouths and jokers will look up and shout "Rep me!"

And I'll look down and whisper "No."

"Where is that from?" "My brain!"

The forum was there for us and it soaked up our sweat, our blood, our tears and we thought that we would never let it down.

People care about rep?

Rep ain't worth shit if you ain't earned it.

Not that it's worth anything if you HAVE, but it's the principle of the thing. Have some dignity.

I'm pretty sure most of the forum is gone, and nobody cares.

We've had this discussion before.

People with a lot of rep say rep doesn't matter, then someone mentions it and then everyone gets rep.

Rep became worthless when people started repping me. Which was from 05-27-2011. Three years from registration was all it took for me to bring the system down.

Am I the only one who keeps reading "reppers" as "rappers" and wondering why Seil is lamenting the state of popular music?

Hey, I've repped people 3 times this year alone, and had rep 4 times in return. It's still a thing!

Mostly I only rep people who either make me laugh or say something that makes me wonder if perhaps they had been reading my mind pre-emptively.

I see that I have never repped seil. Make me laugh and you shall be rewarded. Dance monkey, dance!
