"Damn they can't hear me. Oh well everyone else let's go to the Inn." Later at the Inn. "Hope Delmenon has restored Ziff. Otherwise we'd be down one of our fire elements. Oh well. As long as the creature doesn't come back we're mortal enemies Ziff."

Norfors floated back in his spiritual form looking very displeased, "I hate possessing beings like that, they always end up getting knocked out at the worst times." Norfors complained.

Ooc: I know, if you noticed from the "good" thread, Jericho has a tendancy of detecting things by sensing them through the air.
Ic: An increased blast from the Windrider stopped the debris in its course, the blades met this mighty wind and dispirsed, unable to hold their form. Increasing pressure from both sides stressed the debris, grinding it to a fine powder. The power of the wind struggled against itself, wind currents trapped flying life in their gusts and blew them to the center of the blasts, crushing them instantly. Jericho saw the damage their battle was doing. He looked up into his nemesis' eyes... and smiled. With but a thought, Jericho reversed the pressure of the wind he was creating, riding the power of his own and Gwaethir's blasts, sending him at an unimaginable speed... straight towards the Troll. Jericho aimed his Katana's to the towering bohemeth, blasting through the center of its chest like a silver bullet. He then slowed to a stop, crouching vertically on a wall of the castle before springboarding himself back at Gwaethir. He spread his arms wide, all oxygen, all air rushed from the Winged Elf, trapping him in total vaccuum. |
OOC: I edited my last post, Ziff is alive again
IC: Gwaethir, sensing what Jericho was attempting, quickly pulled the air back in, then compacted it, creating armor of pure force around himself. He spun his chains again, drawing them back in. "Neither of us can win this...anything he does, I will counter, and anything I do, he will counter. As Masters of the same element, we can both sense eachother's Air attacks...hmmm..." he hovered, idly wondering if Ze/Nosfor (Zenosfor?) was going to help, if he should make a truce, or if there was an easy way to beat Jericho. |
Norsfors noticed the two combatants and flew up to the one who hadn't gotten on his nerves. "Hey! Can you create some sort of gigantic statue for me with your powers? The troll got knocked out which forced me out," Norsfors asked.

Jericho nodded once again to his adversary. Sheathing his Katana's, he clenched his hands together and drew them to his side. the molecules that composed the air began moving, first slowly, then rapidly. the air within Jericho's hands grew hazy, starting to radiate with all the heat of the earth's core. He thrust his hands forward, sending a Thermal of intense heat at his enemy.
Suddenly, a high powered blast of water ripped through the skies, bashing Jericho from the air. He hit the ground with an intense impact, his vision blacking out for a few seconds, he looked up to see the Elvish woman, cackling at her handiwork. |
"Hm... I see Ziff is alive at last. Well it's been a day I wonder if Jerico and Gwaethir are still fighting." Later. "Yup. They're still fighting too bad I can't fly and tell them to stop. Oh well."
|
Gwaethir's eyes narrowed, his grin becoming feral. Jericho had made a mistake. Telekinesis and molecular motion was his specialty, and he easily made a field of cold (slowed molecular motion in the air) as intense as Jericho's heat blast...and the field was surrounding the Hero of Air. Heat cancelled out cold, and suddenly Jericho was blasted to the ground by the Evil of Water. Gwaethir looked down at the woman, a look of pleased amusement on his face, "well met.......I assume you are the Evil of Water?"

Judas returned his grin, but her eyes betrayed no humour. She returned her gaze to the downed hero- And was blasted in turn by an immense gale! Judas was smashed through the trunk of a nearby oak, toppling the mighty tree.
Jericho retuned to his feet, tears slowly welling within his eyes, blurring his vision. He sent a malicious stare towards Gwaethir, an icy gaze that had been known to chills down the spines of even the most courageous of warriors. Jericho took to the air once more, but this time turning from the battle, to regroup with his friends. ******* Slowly, painfully, Judas dragged herself from the stattered remains of the old oak, Cracking her neck to return mobility. A deep fire burned within her eyes. |
Fed up with trying to hold the castle up long enough for the two Champions to stop fighting, the brothers merely threw the peice of stone off of their shoulders, picked up a sturdy rock in each hand, walked toward Jericho, and began the Incantation for Steal Mind...realizing he was gone, they threw the stones in the direction he had went, looked up at the Avariel, "How you get up there?" Cho'Gond wondered.
