Recommend any Image hosting sites?
Because first imageshack went Bull on me, and now all of a sudden, Photobucket follows suit.
And I probably wouldn't wanna try Tumbler from the constant negativitiy I'm always hearing about it. |
What happened to Photobucket? I've been using it for years and it seems to be working okay? also, there's honestly nothing wrong with Tumblr if you just want a place to stash some pictures, but an actual image storage site like Pintrest may be more what you're looking for.

Tumblr's more of a blog site than an image host, anyway.
You could use imgur. They have an account system I've never bothered with (and thus don't know if it has issues). It works well enough for just posting pictures on NPF without making an account, which is how I've been using it for a couple years now. Also Photobucket (and this is a phil_ only problem, not sure why I'm sharing) kinda doesn't get along with NoScript, in that I can give it all the permissions it asks for, but if I didn't have those permissions granted before I clicked whatever link sent me to Photobucket I will never see the linked image. I'll be able to load every other jpg on whoever's account, but the one image that landed me on Photobucket will never load. Again, might just be a problem with my specific, out-of-date computer that doesn't affect any other user on the internet, but it does affect me and I don't click Photobucket links anymore because it is invariably a waste of time. |
Photobucket went down the hole years ago. Terribly unreliable compared to how it used to be since it went full on stupid with flash because reasons. Not the well designed flash site layout either (relatively speaking. Flash is, and always will be, complete shite).
Just make an imgur account and set gallery as private. |

But okay, I'll haver to try out imgur, thanks guys :) |
Depending on user need, you could also try your ISP's web storage if they offer any.

In any case, imgur is probably a front-runner. As far as I understand it, it grew from Reddit/was made to work with Reddit, and there are enough people who use that without crashing imgur that it must be OK. |
Just don't go into the comments on imgur. It is an awful bigoted site that tries way to hard to be ED

I'm really fond of Hostr.co as it is incredibly simplistic and fast. No frills or bullshit, just "Drag a thing here to upload it. Now it's uploaded. Click here to go to the full version and link to it if you want to. Shit's done.
There is a 15 files per day and 20 MB per file limit on the site for free users, which is something that's never applied to me at all. |
Okay, thanks!

YMMV
I suppose, in a way, we also have a sort of list posted of hosting sites worth considering.
