Red Mage Question

Since Red Mage is obviously a DND character, I have a question.... What exactly were his starting stats? Exactly how did he min/max his stats? (Hat should be included)

You know, I sent the question "Who is hotter, Legolas or Aragorn" and he hasn't even read it. Stupid red mage. Knowing DND.

And somone explain how DND works. I get the general jist of it (from my noobish friend) but seriously, how does it go?

What do you mean "What's the jist of it?" There are many rules and variations. What does Jist mean anyway?

Like I get the idea, the goal, a kinda how it works but I was told how it worked very vaugly. But I don't get stats and crap like that. I know what it is but not how it works. There, that might make more sense.

You pick a race, a class, set up your stats, buy equipment, select class and cross-class skills, select a feat. You fight enemies, probably to advance a plot.
Races and classes have unique bonuses. A feat is like, something rare (such as ambidexterity), and a skill is a skill. A stat is your level of an attribute available to practically everyone (such as your strength or constitution). You roll dice (continually) and declare actions to decide who wins, it's always higher on a roll is better.

Red Mage isn't a DnD character. He's just playing Life AS a DnD player. Haven't you seen the one where he actually phsycially rolls the die? He explains that the Gods are the like the GM or something. And when you die you lose your character sheet and get brought back with a new one.

ooooh. Gotcha. So the way I see it taking effort in your setup is like setting to play Risk or Monoploly. It takes forever.

Good point.... so I'll rephrase the question... what were the starting Ability Scores on Red Mage's Character Sheet?

I disagree, character creation doesn't take very long unless you're being a real munchkin about it. As far as mechanics go, the longest part is choosing your skills and spells, but even that doesn't take long at first level. If you have an idea for a character and you assign your stats in-line with that idea, without doing all the math, you can have a character sheet in a few minutes. If you use something like the CharGen software they included in the PHB, it's as quick as a wink.

His hat does gives him +4 in his Magic Attributes, that about all I could find/remember.
