Paige instantly moved forward, her training clicking in. "Appears to be a 25 year old man, stumbled into a bar and was alert and verbal. Severe laceration to the left side of his head, stretching from the temple to the middle of the head. BP is 90/66. We've administered one of morphine and two bags O neg blood plus 15 litres of O2 on a Nasal Cannula. Patient is unarmed but resisted treatment, restraints were necessary."
OOC: A nasal cannula is the tubing that goes around your ears and has two little tubes to administer oxygen through the nasal cavity. |
Wily sat down in a corner. He seemed to be resting his left eye was closed and he was holding onto the armrest of his chair. He watched the transmissions coming from Soiderbotman 97 and a half. The doctors seemed to be to busy to notice even if it had been sitting next to the guys head. Still he kept it concealed on the bottom of the gourney. It was his nature to be curious but, there seemed to be alot here he couldn't understand and he didn't like being threatened especially when he didn't who was or what was threatining him. That made this all the more interesting.
The secretart nodded, then started writing down what Paige said, then glanced up, "Are you all here with this man?" She asked suspiciously.
Meanwhile, the gurney was being wheeled down the hallway. It went into an emergancy room and the doctors immediately started working on him. It all seemed normal enough. |
Shad wandered over to the waiting area and grabbed a random magazine. Since his night had been cut short and he had nothing better to do, he decided to follow along and see that everything worked out ok. He was also intensely curious about the man's identity.
"Actually, I was just helping to hold him down. By the way... Could you point me toward the nearest violent attack victim?" asked Derek with a slight grin from behind Paige, half way in response to the secretary's question.
Before long another secretary came out looking very professional, holding many charts. Through the door there were some doctors talking and looking very serious. She approached the group and glanced up over her glasses, "Could you all come with me for a bit?" She asked.
Shad put down the magazine and went to follow the secretary.
Wily debated it for a moment, should he leave or not. He decided to stay still and sit still acting like he was resting and wait to see if the secratary noticed.
"Why?" Derek asked, a bit confused. "I just told the other secretary I'm not with him. I really couldn't care less about whatever you have to tell me. I just want to talk to a few other patients for a minute before I go home."
The secretary glanced down at the charts in her hands, then glanced up again. "It's just policy. If you are going to be spending any time at this hospital, we must conviscate any weapons you may have during your stay here." She said, glancing at the gunslinger, "It's for the protection of our patients and our staff."
