Cid had evacuated so many people with out a hitch his main thought was at what point do we run out of luck. the question was answered almost immedetly by a grinning lich. The lich said something to the group but Cid didn't hear it. Cid was dashing towards the lich before he had started talking. Cid spproched the lich at blinding spped at launched a open plam at the lich's face.

Necros barely had enough time to jump back before the attack hit, but he wasn't fast enough to get completely out of the way, it hit him in the stomach and he was sent flying back a few feet. "No one...no one does that to me and expects to live," Necros threatened as his eyes turned a deadly shade of red as his fear aura sent the evacuating people running away in utter panic, Necros began to chant the words to a powerful spell as the air around him began to thicken and flickers of energy began to wrap around his body.
OOC: Necros looks like a vampire, you have to know a lot about undead and magic to notice the difference. |
OOC: Due to total lostness and no one bothering to help me out, I am dropping out of this confuseing and downward spiraling uber RP. I assume no one cares. Continue with your game. *sighs and goes back in lurker hole*
|
OOC: Cid didn't actually relise it was a lich just like how I the name Necros without Cid knowing it's his name. Or at least thats the story I just made up.
The more spells you cast at me the happyer I am going to be to have improved evasion. Cat all you have to do is ask for help. I would have been glad to help you get your bearings. IC: Cid wasn't about to let Necros finish his spell. He launched a kick at the undead's chest. |
OOC: Who said he was aiming at you?
IC: Necros didn't move, the attack hit him square in the chest and sent him flying backwards. Necros continued chanting his spell, not breaking his concentration once as he landed on his feet, the spell was almost complete. Necros grinned as he made the last gesture in the spell and said the last word. "Willpower is my kind's greatest weapon, learn that well human," Necros said as he pointed above them, where flaming stones began to fall straight at the evacuating people before he ran away. OOC: Meteor Storm/Swarm whatever the spell is called. |
OOC: ah... good one.
Cid swore and ran after the fleeing lich ignoring the peril that the unevacuated people where in. He focused all of his energy into his movement. "You are going nowhere!" he shouted at Necros. |
OOC: I know, being evil is fun, it gives you those little options  .
"Then hurry up!" Necros taunted as he made his way towards the nearest undead horde, already dominating some lesser undead, calling them towards him. |
Cid ran after Necros moving as fast as he could. That damn zombie is lucky he didn't aquire a hole in the chest when I kicked him he thought, im not going to let him survive an encounter with me again. in his rage Cid hadn't noticed the horde of undead.
|
OOC: Thanks for offering... But I just don't think I want to do this kind of RP right now... too many people... not few enough for slightly leniant turn based system. I'm out. I'll probably do an RP later on...
Arakath decided this was just too much, and cast a recall spell that would take him to the point at which he adressed at an earlier time. It was too boring for him to take. Pointless, and waisted fighting. Besides.. the undead had enough soldiers. He was there, and now, gone... |
Ooc: Well damn. That means no Vampire vs Vampire uber battle.
Ic: Movado heard the Minotaur come crashing through the ceiling moments before the stake was thrown, seeing the giant monstrosity cock back it's arm, he ran at full speed towards the door, grabbing the edge of the frame and whiping himself around behind the protection of the wall. The stake flew through the vacated doorway, smashing into and embedding itself into the stone wall. |
Necros charged straight into the horde of undead as he ordered his dominated minions to attack his pursuer. "Remember my name, I am Necros, a Lich of the highest calibur, consider yourself lucky that I was unprepared for such a challenge," Necros said as the undead began to charge Cid.

Thaddeus, in frustration, drew his long, serrated sword, called a katar, and slashed a human with a primitive, crude, wooden spear. The flimsy weapon snapped under the katar's blow and the human went flying. Thaddeus ignored the spear for a moment and lowered his horn, preparing for a bull rush and running forward at high speed.
|
As the Minotaur smashed through the wall he was hiding behind, Movado leaped from cover, but he was not quick enough. As he leaped, Thaddeus' horn slammed into his shoulder, his armour taking the damage, but dislocating his shoulder in the process. landing hard on the floor, Movado leaped to his feet and charged through a window, shattering it as he dropped to the street below.
As he landed, he heard the sound of the town clock, it struck six times. It was six o clock. Movado looked to the east, only to observe something horrible and beautiful at the same time. The sun was rising. Hastely shoving his shoulder back into place, Movado charged back into the depths of the city as the sun's light traced upon the outskirts. Already undead stragglers began to burst into flame as the blinding light fell upon them. Seeing the approaching rays, the undead swarming the fortress began to withdraw, many climbing over each other in hopes of returning to safety. Some ran into the fortress in hopes of escaping the deadly light, others ran back to the forests from whence they came. Vampires flashed into puffs of black smoke and flew from the scene. And Movado raced for his life. The event horizon gaining quickly at his heels, past the buildings, through the alleys, until he saw it. The holy temple. It was his last chance. just as the horizon passed over him, he leaped through a stain glass window of the church, landing hard between the pews. Images of Crusifixes, and the holiness of the place itself burned him. He ran through the pain, dispite his searing flesh and chanted. Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our tresspasses, as we forgive those who tresspass against us. He smashed through door after door, down staircase after staircase, past windows letting in the first few rays of sunlight. his skin began to peel and fry, yet he still ran finally approaching the door to the morgue at the basement. Lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power and the glory, Forever and ever. He slammed through the door, leaping to an open coffin as the suns full brightness was about to shine; leaping in and slaming the top shut as the rays glowed full force upon it. He sighed and rested his head back within the small dark confines, shutting his eyes, he said. Amen. |
