And is that a picture of Black Mage flicking us off in the introduction?

Why, yes. Yes it is. Did you really expect something else from the very incarnation of all mortal evils?

*waits contently for sprite release*

What do you mean by "sprite release"?

Phage Legionaire 06-20-2004 07:10 PM

I feel VERRRY sorry for BM in the bloopers, especially the one where he has trouble pulling the knife drawer out. That was EXTREMELY funny. Keep up the good work Meddros!

I would have expected BM to do better against BB, though...

I think Archdeco made the mistake that most of the original spritework for this movie was done by me, which it wasn't. Since I've got a running thread here which has a good deal of the sprites I've done, I think Arch was hoping that I'd release the sprites in a timely manner.

Of course, since the only sprites I've done for this movie, are ones that I made for WM Vs BM, I think everything on my part is already out there.

So if there is to be a sprite release, it isn't my bailiwick. Maybe if you (Archdeco) beg & plead in the thread, something might come of it.

Then again, you might get a big ol' denial. I mean, I wouldn't blame the spriteters (I think it was Slackbot & two others, if I'm not mistaken), as I had a hard time myself when I first did a sprite release of any kind.

Ah, I see. I don't have any problem with posting the sprites I did for this movie; if other people can get some use out of 'em, more power to 'em. Should I post them in the thread you started, SWB, or would you rather keep that one for your work only?

Well it all depends... I mean, it'd certainly drive home the misconception that I'm the one responsible for the sprites. But if you want too, go ahead. Still, I'd suggest you post them here, or in that stickified thread devoted to sprites in the Arts N' Crafts section.

In case anyone cares -- This is the text on the box of band-aids Fighter brought BM.

Stops the bleeding
but not the pain.

OUCHies

for when you get your foot or hand cut
off in an industrial accident or Ninja trap.

Yes, it is. Actually, the sprite on my sheet is not identical to the sprite you created. Take a look at the hands - yours are flat, mine are fisted. So, it's a mod of a sprite you drew, just as all of our sprites are mods of Square's. Still, I have no urge to get into a custody argument, so the sheet's gone. All better?
