OOC: Sorry I haven't been posting much. I'm on summer vacation and haven't been able to use a computer these last two days (been traveling a lot. My dad dragged me over to his college reunion.) but I should have more frequent internet access from now on.))
Kardin walked around town deep in thought. They have spies everywhere. That's how they've been traking us. They love death so torture won't work... Dammit, how do we get around these people?! He then bumped into Vars. "Oh... crap. Vars? Er... what did my men do to your daughter?" |
"For your information, they brutally assaulted her, raped her, and murdered her! Damn!" Vars punched a wall. "Those bastards deserved death!"
Kardin's eyes flickered red and back to normal. "They did. Deserve death, I mean. I killed their leader." He heaved a deep sigh. "Seems wherever I go somebody near me gets killed."
"Now my family really is dead. I spent all those years murdering, and then I found them. Now, I've no purpose."
"As surprising as this may be, I know what it feels like to have no purpose."
"I must tell you something. I believe in fate. My name, Vars................. it means 'the avenger.' My family was fated to be killed."
Kardin raised a brow. "That's what 'Kardin' means in Gorbonwitz."
OOC: Seriously. When I started writing a language and list of Gorbonwitz names several months ago when I first thought up the species. |
Magnus and his group of rapscalions approached the two, grim determination eched into his face.
"I've had no luck finding the location of the ceremony as of yet, they are incredibly difficult to break." He said, then jestured to the elf. Its armour had been crushed to a quarter of its original size, many internal organs could be seen, having been squeezed out of its body through breaches in its skin, many of which were still hemmoraging. He looked between the two. "Oh, I meant their minds, their bodies are quite fragile. Have you had any luck so far?" |
Areine walked towards the group "Excuse me, master elf, you seem to be in much pain, allow me to lighten the burden of greif" he said, with a wave of his hand.
"I'm very sorry to hear your daughter was murdered, mister Vars." Melandie said grimmly. "And who are you? I think I noticed some of you before by the clock tower." she said turning to the other people who had appared around.
