"My companions the Band of Brothers, the newest sub-faction of the Kel Nu'ur clan. Them and I are the members. As for why we are opposed to summoning Alexis, we're not. We only despise the Roshum For the treason they committed." Vars gectured to his companions, and the stepped forward. "These men are Vector, Vincent, Verdi, and Vadker."

OOC: Jaguar, the sacrifice is still in there. The building is burning down. Midnight. Burn the sacrifice at midnight and you get Alexis. Cruelty, Kardin can't hear melandie from inside a burning building.

IC: Kardin ran through the winding corridors of the mansion in search of the sacrifice. He heard somebody shouting for help from behind the door at the end of a corridor. "I'm coming!" he shouted in response. As he was about to open the door, a wooden support fell in front of the door, setting it on fire. he turned around to see that he was surrounded in flames. Shit!

"Oh, nice to meet you all!" Melandie exclaimed:"my name is Melandie Bell, I'm an artist, also a believer of Rowt."

Vars glanced upward when Kardin yelled. He grabbed his grappling hook and climbed to the window, removing the sacrifice and Kardin from the building. The sacrifice, who was a young human girl of about 17, was shivering when exposed to the cold night air. Vars kindly draped his cloak around her and secured his weapons to his belt.

"Oh my god!" Melandie stred as the events unfurled around her. As Vars emerged from the building Melandie rushed over. "Are you allright?" she asked the young girl.

"There's still someone in there, I'll stop the flames, someone go in there and get them."
Areine quickly drew water from any nearby source he could and made it fall on the burning buliding as a heavy rain. "Anyone, quickly"

"Well I might as well as go!" Melandie saied and ran into the new opening. The smoke was piling in her face adn she barely could see. And then a cracking noise came from above, as a supurt beam had broken of and was falling on her at a fast speed. She felt her legs fall numb, as the pillar was heading for her.

But suddenly, the pillar stopped moving.

What the hel... Melandie thought, as she quickly composed herself and walked away from underneeth it. The pillar imediately fell down.

She continiued running. Suddnely she smelled a diferent smell, fhile at the same time she heard a scream. She ignored the weird smell and ran throwards the scream. While she was running the smell became more evident. Then she realized her dress was catching fire. She acted swiftly, tearing that part of her dress away. She ran on.

OOC:Oh god. Now I'll have to introduce another character.

Melandie ran deeper. Suddenly she made it to a room on the second floor. There was a Roshum there, whos legs had been crushed by another of those support pillars.

I ran all the way here because of a Roshum? Well, now I might as well as save this guy. Melandie thought quickly.

"Please help! I don't want to die. Please miss!" The Roshum begged at Melandie: "I was put here because the last of the Roshums found out my treason and put me in here. I am actually one of the Relt." It was quite obvious, as he had produced a insigna of that clan.

"I'll try to help." She knelt down beside him and using all her force she couyld she tried to lift the pillar. She could lift it enough for the mans legs to be free.

Oh god! I cant hold it for long. What will I do. I can't cause this man more harm, then he is allready in, by droping it on his legs. But suddenly, time stood still once again. again! Melandie thught. Then she realized what she had to do. She grabbed the man and pulled him out from underneeth there. He was baddly crushed.

The pillar fell down again and the man gaped in awe. Melandie on the other hand had no time for questions and ran to the window, to shout for help. She broke the window and shouted: "Hey, Vars. Could you please come up here and pull me out of the house again. I have a man disguised as the Roshum, but who is actually a member of the Relt."

As vars made to run towards the building, Areine held him back "wait, I can do it faster" he said, as the orb of water atop his staff formed into a disk of ice and rose to the window where Melandie and the relt follower were calling "climb on, don't worry it's quite safe" he called up, seeing her reaction.

"Oh well, better this then anything else!" She swiftly stepped on the hooverng piece of ice, taking the man along.

They slid safely to the ground and slowly walked up to the rest people. Once there Melandie collapsed out of sheer exhaustion.

OOC: Won't post for three hours.

"Don't wory, she's just tired" said Areine, when the others rushed forward to help " I think someone should find her a place to rest. This one, however, will take some time" he said turing to the follower of relt. Areine knelt over him, a look of deep concentration on his face. Slowly, the light sraches and cuts on his body began to heal, then the deeper ones and finaly some bones were heard cracking into place. "He will also need to rest, anybody know of a place nearby?"

"I'll give him forever rest," Vars muttered, loading a crossbow. The follower of Relt saw the sign of Kel Nu'ur engraved on Var's chest and struggled to get up and attack, but Vars swiftly put a boot on the man's stomach and pinned him down. "Relt and Kel Nu'ur are hateful enemies," said Vars, nodding his head towards the man lying on the ground. "He'll try to kill me if he gets the chance."

"Do you realy think he could kill you now, he's to weak to even stand. Let him go today, maybe you will meet another day but I'll not let you kill him today." He then surrounded the cringing man in ice to protect him.

"Very well. Trust him if you want to." He began to walk away, but then turned back. "Once you've healed him, I'm gonna turn him in to the Council of Kel Nu'ur. They'll hang him from the nearest tree." He grinned and continued walking, gently grabbing the human girl and kindly leading her away.

Areine rmoved the ice "Come with me, young one" he said too the man on the floor.
"No, please he'll kill, NO!" The man scrambeld away form the preist, a look of panic on his face. He was gone before Areine could stop him "they'll only kill you faster" he sighed."

IC: Kardin, who had lost concience somewhere before Vars had gotten him out of the building due to inhaling too much smoke, woke, immediately breaking into a coughing fit. What the hell just happened? He asked himself, rising to his feet. The sacrifice! Alexis! Crap, was I too late?! He saw Vars lead the girl away, and there were no bodies covering the ground. All is well. He led his remaining troops back to headquarters, hoping the next few days would bare rest.
