Your dragon form would be omni-elemental, which wouldn't make you more powerful but more adaptable. Other than that... yes... for the most part. Unless your mutant form rolls out shittily or you DO buy failure.

Edit: There's a decent number, but only they know they exist... which is the only reason they get to. I'll give more explanation when the ACTUAL RP comes up.

Some more questions.

Do I get to choose which genes to use when transforming?

What's the difference between Miracle, Thorn, and Trance?

When Dragon form dies, does the character die or just go back to human form?

If a Fusion dragon dies, do the team mates die?

Krylo 06-25-2004 12:37 AM

No. They all activate when you transform.

Miracle and trance both improve the power of the other genes, while thorn improves the special attributes (like a fire dragon dealing fire elemental damage).

You die. Not your character. You.

Yes.

IHateMakingNames 06-25-2004 12:38 AM

Heh... I could take the Fusion gene, turn into a dragon, absorb everyone, then get myself killed and end us all! BWHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Krylo 06-25-2004 12:41 AM

...A dragon with 8 people fused would be God multiplied by three... which is why you only get to fuse with one. And they have to accept it, or the dragon will try to tear itself apart.

These should be the last questions for a while...

When the Infinity gene is used, do the other genes matter?

Are Brood basically humans (When it comes to stats), but with 30 extra points?

Krylo 06-25-2004 12:57 AM

No (unless you get failure) and yes.

Also, there are five versions of infinity.

Failure Kaiser
Kaiser
Kaiser Dragon
True Kaiser
True Kaiser Dragon

...Failure Kaiser sucks. It's basically the kaiser + failure gene combo from BoFIII

IHateMakingNames 06-25-2004 01:01 AM

If the genes don't affect the Infinity gene (Besides Failure), then how are the forms of Kaiser chosen?

And why would some one get the Failure gene and other dragon genes? The only point to it would be to get an extra 40 points instead of 30 to spend in stats, skills, and spells.

Krylo, my eyes bleed when I read your attachment. And my head pounds when I try to figure out how to use AIM.

I'm still a part of this, no doubt, but laziness and frustration slow my progress.

The good news is I'll be sending out BOF2 sometime next week. You should have it by the middle of July.

As of current that's as helpful as I get ...

In what ways are you using comeliness? As just a general guide to physical appearance, without any real mechanical aspect? A simple "Wow" factor? Or are such things as an NPC having more or less trust or someone less willing to hit a person with such a "pretty face" dependent on your comeliness?
