Is anyone here going to Otacon 2004 (July 30, 31, August 1)? I'm going all three days, and a few friends of mine want to go. The only problem is that they can't afford the tickets. Does anyone know where I can find 3 tickets for cheap? :fighter:

The con won't have cheaper tickets available anywhere...

So, start hitting up the places you keep seeing commercials for if you mean plane tickets.

Not sure if I'll make it for all three days (might miss Friday), but I'll be there.

Lucky you. I've longed to go to a convention. Otokon just seems like the perfect place too. However, if you don't have tickets yet, you already missed out on the cool stuff. If you pre-register about 8 months before the con, you can sign up for all the cool extras.

I don't know. Last year, the extras seemed a little overrated. And I remember the pre-reg line was longer than the buy-at-the-door line. At least, it seemed that way.

Maybe we were just there early enough.

Okay, are we typing about Otacons or Otakon? Those are two very different things; the thread title is "Otacon"(short for "Otaku Convention"). And there are many 2004 Otacons(read my thread in Anime on one). Typing of which, shouldn't this thread be in the Anim thread?

As for Otakon 2004, I really want to go. But I need to get off this road trip I'm currently on and see how things are back home. Then depending on how tight things are, I may or may not be going.

Though I find their weapons' policy to be...annoying.

I'd like to go to either Otakon or E3.

E3 ain't gonna happen because I heard you need to either be a member of the press or work at a video game company to get in. (The bastards...)

Otakon is all that's left.
