Well I guess I'll put my two cents in as well, he didn't specify what kind of metal, if it was some lightweight metal such as Titanium (assuming I remember my metals correctly at least) or something else like that, that could also make it more realistic. Though so long as he isn't unstoppable, I say let him have his fun. And, knowing the rest of you, you can figure out ways to stop him if you need to.

I'd say he's far from it. That's the problem with super strength. Unlike other mutant powers, you can use it in multiple forms and creativly, all you can do is lift heavy stuff.


But, he should probably get rid of them anyway.

According to his bio, he had the metal turning power before the Big Bang. After the Bing Bang, he grew wings. That's wrong though, since you can't have had powers before the Big Bang. So, before the Big Bang he would be a normal human, then he gets a mutant power (His first one was Metal Man, not Wings, so I would assume it would be the former).

Alrighty then...yah I see your point, being that heavy you would need some sort of propulsion(sp?) or other dormant/linked power that activates when the wings flap. Well depending on how strong he is, if he is Dragonball Z/YuYu Hakushyo strong then he can do things with that strength besides the lifting up of heavy things, though I seriously doubt that. Well he could have had that other power, assuming he has a good reason such as genetic experimentation or some other kind of accident.

I didn't see the thing as to not having powers before the explosion. That's easily changeable. So, he has the powers after. No big deal.

Even though he's 900 pounds, think of how strong those wings would be in his form with the super strength. They are still controlled by muscles, and are made of VERY durable metal.

Although...everyone seems to be forgetting one highly important thing...metal conducts electricity. That's something to work with there, no?

And, let's say he couldn't lift off with his wings because of space or lack of propulsion, he could simply jump in the air. 'nuff said.

I think that settles it, yes?

I've taken a look at some of the other posts he has done in sign-up threads, IHMN apparently likes things as realistic as possible. Like I said, so long as you ~can~ be beaten I don't have a problem. Besides, look at my character's power, he can stop your guy pretty easily and everybody else can figure out their own ways to beat you. I just have the easiest way to do so. Though on an side note, I would love to see how damn big these wings are :D .

He should have to jump off a building or something and hope that he gets enough with resistance before he even has ideas of being able to fly.

Edit - And Zor, any metahuman can beat his guy. The only person I see have a problem is the video game guy.

What's your problem with my guy IHMN? I don't have problems changing him somewhat but I'm not completely redoing him.

Also on a side note I have to agree with IHMN on his flight in order to get something that weighs 900 pounds off the ground he would have to have A VERY LARGE Wing Span, also he would need an incredable propolsion system.

I don't see his powers as that much of a threat. I doubt he will be carrying around Arcade machines so he can suck out some items to use as powers, and some games offer worthless crap (Tetris blocks wont' do much, and there isn't anything he can use from Megaman Power Battles at all, since all of the robots are human size or bigger, and I'm pretty sure none of them use items).

Edit - I don't have anything about him, just he doesn't seem very powerful, unless he happens to have a nearby video game that has something very good in it, and then all you have to do is disarm him and it goes away.

I see a problem with this "Jump into the air so he can glide" thing. just leaping into the air to glide wouldn't work that well.

1. you would have to attain a really high jump in order to find the high level air currents.

2. Just being in the air with a glider isn't gonna make you glide, you have to either have a very strong wind behind you, or get a running start, building up your momentum beforehand. With your character, I would guess that at 900 lbs, he would have to be running pretty damn fast to get airborn.

In my opinion, I think that the wings for flight are a little much, and physically impossible. I concure with the "Glide" opinion. you could have your character climb a good sized building in order to attain flight by gliding, and then just take it from there.

I chose the tetris block because I thought it would be funny to see someone get beat over the head with one. And I said nothing that wasn't much larger then him. So if you'r thinking megaman power battles hey would beable to say take megaman's gun and armor becoming megaman so to say until he decided to stop. Don't worry they're are plenty of games he has. On his laptop he has emulators and billions of ROMs so I'd say he has a wide arsenal of weaponry.

Don't worry about my guy buying underpowered, I can be very creative.
