You should probably have it so Brood have to spend their 30 extra points in genes.
Good point. So it was written, and so it shall be. Of course, you can still spend more than those thirty points, like you did. Still not much reason to make a human stat-wise, though. Which is why I told FZ that he could make another dragon if he was just going to go human anyway. Play testing a dragon without their genes activated is play testing a human.

Edit 5 - Why does Trance cost 10 EXP, but Miracle is only 5 EXP? (If this will result in the price of Miracle going up, ignore this question)
Because high speed and power are better than high defense and willpower.

Why? Because if you're faster than the other guy and your power is high enough (as it probably will be at higher strengths for you when fighting lesser enemies/using aura) you can wipe him out before he can touch you. Who needs defense then?

But, even if your defense is high enough that the other guy can't hurt you, you still need power and speed to be able to hit/injure him to win the fight.

Thus, the defense gene costing less than the agi/pow gene.

Edit 4 - If you see something wrong with your character, tell me.
Nothing wrong stat-wise, but, you do realize that a mage could kick your ass, right? Oh, and you put 19 DEF under stats for dragon form (which is correct. 18.5 rounded), but you added your armor's effects to 18. So your PD and ED scores were short. I fixed that.

Edit - Felt like it, so I made an attachment with all the characters (Got rid of the math, and fixed things that krylo said to fix).
Now I don't have to do it. Woo!

Heh, I got rid of the extra 30 (Or 40) points for FZ...

I figured you were going to say that... But, I still asked anyway, hoping that you might decide to drop it to 5 EXP.

We round up?

I thought it was rounded down, so I 'fixed' the armor, but forgot to change the stat itself.

Also, I know a mage could beat my guy. My guy is faster then most mages will be though, and with his POW he should do a good amount of damage against a mage. That, and my EXP will be going into WIL for a while.

Krylo 06-26-2004 02:31 AM

We don't round up. We round to the closest integer.

Don't you remember elementary math class? 5 and above rounds up, 4 and below rounds down.

GatoFiero 06-26-2004 02:32 AM

w00t! Happy happy happy! I found the biography of O'hell the dragon in my archives! I just wanted to post that somewhere!

*does a dance*

IHateMakingNames 06-26-2004 02:36 AM

I figured that all stats were rounded down no matter what the decimal was, and I meant round up as in .5 and up is rounded up (At the time I couldn't think of a better word choice, but now I realize round normally would have been better).

Gato, why do you want it?

Edit - When my guy turns into a Warrior dragon, what would happen to his armor and clothing? A normal dragon absorbs all of the stuff, but a Warrior dragon is humanoid. I haven't played BoF 3 in a long time, so I don't remember if Ryu keeps his shirt or not (I know he keeps his pants). Would everything just stay on, or would everything be absorbed (Besides the pants)?

Krylo 06-26-2004 03:39 AM

Absorbed. In BoFIII his pants are all that remain...

But that's not the reason. The real reason is that they either get absorbed or his wings rip the shit out of his shirt everytime you transform.

IHateMakingNames 06-26-2004 03:51 AM

Or, his shirt/armor could have slits in the back for where the wings come out when he transforms (Easy way to prevent ripping is to do that and have the transformation so first the bones of the wing come out, small at first, and pass through the slits. Then the wings form outside of the shirt).

Also, were only Dante and FZ planning on joining this? I thought Demon was going to as well, and maybe some other vets I forgot (Raiden, Celes, etc, etc).

Edit - Also, out of curiosity, what are the multipliers for weretigers?

Krylo 06-26-2004 04:04 AM

125% Power, Defense, and Agility.

And yes, Demon was going to, but not Raiden/Celes.

BMHadoken 06-26-2004 10:49 AM

Ok, 26 extra points, I'll add a Drain spell. And the bird people look really Angel-y...and please tell me that all the Wyndians that were playable were female, and not the entire Wyndian race...

Krylo 06-26-2004 02:10 PM

Actually, there were two playable male wyndians in BoFI, but they were just the kind of characters that come into the party for a little bit for story reasons and then leave never to be seen again. Anyway... yah, there are male wyndians.
