Paper Mario 2
 

I just heard about Paper Mario 2, and since i liked the first one, i'm going to get it. Does anyone else, or am I the only one?

I'm going to get Paper Mario 2. I read about it in Nintendo Power.

I heard about it a while ago, but I am looking forward to it. I never got to actually play the first for more than a few minutes, but those few minutes were pure fun. I also like how the audience helps you in PM2. I like self-aware humor.

BOWSER IS PLAYABLE

Yes. Oh god, yes.

The whole game looks pretty good, so far. The new villian, the new battle system (such as a changed timed hit system and your helper characters having HP and the audience thing) all seem to have potential to make a great game better. The only thing that worries me is that all the helper characters look weird. That weird ghost/goddess thing, the old Koopa (Koopa Koot, anyone?) both look odd. The female goomba looks fine though. Some people said it may be Goomboro's(sp?) sister. Time will tell.

Anyone know when it's going to be released, by the way? Last I heard, I think it was christmas for Japan and sometime in 2005 for the states.

I actually got an N64 as a graduation present (think I mentioned this) and immediately went online and ordered Paper Mario. I've wanted to play it forever, so I'm glad I can, finally. It's basically all I've used the N64 for so far. Looking forward to PM2, of course.

You know, that was the best part of SMBRPG.

I never got to play the first Paper Mario. But I am definately getting this game. And I hope that Nintendo and Square Enix can team up again for yet another Super Mario RPG.

I loved the first Paper Mario and I'll love the second one also. This time mario can do better moves with his paper self. Like slip under doors, and slowly float down from a jump. And the audience is a nice addition also. I'm greatly looking forward to this game.

I really liked the first game. Simplistic, pure, fun. The movie looks pretty good, I liked the part where Mario's whacking all those skeletons. I'm going to get this game when it comes out, which I should pobably look up.

By the way, the goomba buddy in the first game was "Goombario".
