Relating to the whole Mega Man X debate, I'm pretty sure Dr.Light calls him Mega Man X once or twice...I'll try to find a screen shot. For now, I don't think I'll be accepting votes for X just yet. Just like the Master in Master Chief, the Mega Man is just a title, X being his name everyone else calls him in the game. Wait for letter X to vote for him.

I couldn't help you out there, but in X3, whenever he speaks, his name is listed as "Mega Man X." But for serious, his name is X and should be left for the X category. Come on, who else starts with X anyway? Xavier? Xagor? Y'don't have too many options.

As for M, I'm voting Max Payne, simply because he is not on the list.

Light referrs to him as X. However, in the "Specifications" screen where each of X's subsystems are listed, he's referred to as "Mega Man X". However, it's unknown whether those specifications were drawn up by Dr. Light, or if they were simply the results of the analysis Dr. Cain did on X so that he could start mass-producing robots based on X's design. Cain may have simply noted X's similarity to the robot he'd read about in history books, and decided to append his name on for that reason.

At any rate, in every passage that we can say for sure was said by Dr. Light, X is referred to simply as X.

Anyway, this whole discussion is somewhat offtopic. Let's get back to the matter at hand.

I'm going for Magus. One of the coolest boss-who-has-a-million-hit-points-when-you-fight-him-but-significantly-less-when-he-joins-you type people.
