The Dragon War
1 Attachment(s)
Millenia have passed since last the threat known as the 'brood' have walked amongst the other, more peaceful, races, and all traces of the great 'dragon wars' of the past have been lost to time. No one no longer truly believes that the dragons have endured for all this time, and no one remembers the name of their god, Ladon, or their ancient enemy, Mystria. They have become relegated to tales told to children in order to frighten them into behaving. Many a mother has said, "The dragons will eat you if you don't clean your room!" to their children in an attempt to get them to listen.
Who could believe that dragons would exist in a world where the two planets closest to their own had been colonized, and space stations hovered in the sky? True, magic still exists, but even that is seen as merely another science. Something to be studied and used to further the cause of 'humanity'. Unfortunately, this age of innocence is about to end. Yah yah. So the story intro kinda sucks. I'm just tired and putting this up in order to placate the people from the play testing who want it up fast. Basic rundown, no one knows the brood still exist, but they do. They exist on two space stations, populated only by those of their kind out on the edge of the solar system. One is habitated by the light dragon family, and the other by the dark dragons. The light dragons believe that their power forces responsibility on them for the other people of the solar system, while the dark dragons believe that their power gives them the right to control the other people of the solar system. For the last few millenia the light dragons have managed to keep the dark dragons under control, as that the dark dragons don't have the power to win a war with both the light dragons and humanity at once. However, that balance of power is about to be tipped, resulting in another Dragon War. --- Races are explained further in the .txt file, as is character creation. All you need to know here is that you are either a light dragon who wants to live, as that the light dragons refuse to fight back at their maximum when attacked by the weaker races. Or you're a dark dragon who doesn't want to kill. OR, your any of the other races that don't believe that genocide is right, no matter how dangerous the race you're killing off. Alternatively, if I really like you, I may allow you to be a villain. This probably won't happen as that the villains are for me to play. Also, one person should make a thief of some sort, and at LEAST one person should be able to fly a space ship/fighter ship/ground vehicles/air vehicles. Oh, and if you want to bring over a character you play tested with, you can add 30 more points to your character, and fill out the extra parts of the char sheet I put in. That's the only change you have to make. Also of note: If you're going to use magic, mention studying it in your bio somewhere. If it's just a passing thing, you don't get to use magic. |

Would it be possible for a person with a COM of 1 to seduce some one if their Seduction score was 30is (That's around how many points you can use from your starting points)? |
I was editing it quick. I forgot one sentence.
Try again now. Edit: Also, your characters can die in this. The rolls shall rule, not any weak hearted mortal who may choose to let you keep your character despite being shot in the head. ...Yes, IHMN. Yes it would. However, charisma and seduction cost an equal amount to raise each point, so doing it that way would be retarded, as would be pumping charisma up all the way and not getting any seduction. The cheapest way is to put about an equal amount into both. You'll end up with a higher max, or the same max while spending less points. It's also better RP. |
Why do importing character only get 30 extra points, when the new starting points are now 610, when they used to be 425 (610-425 =/= 30)?
|
Look at the new starting points.
You all only had to build from 5. They all have to build from 1 to all stats. The only extra stats you get is to get com from 5 to 9, because I forgot to give you enough points for that before. |
Does our INT stat directly affect how we have to play our character's intelligence?
|
...Within reason.

hmm I might join tommorrow.
|
Probably won't be able to join, I'm heavily overextended as it is...
