*Joke Topic* Why 8-bit Theater Sucks!
 

I'm basing this off a list of 50 reasons for Lord of the Rings. http://www.pointlesswasteoftime.com/film/50reasons.html (It's a joke. The writer is not bashing the movies.)

So I'm posting my own reasons about 8-bit Theater, and inviting all of you to share your own reasons.

(Let me make it clear that this is not serious. I'm an 8BT fan. Just imagine Black Mage is making this list out of spite.)

1. Unoriginal sprites. Putting robes on them isn't going to hide the fact that the author just used a bunch of Mega Man recolors.

2. How can Fighter be such a sword fan, yet consider himself a friend to someone who uses a knife?

3. The author did sloopy research. Red Mage is obesessed with D&D rules. Yet everyone knows that Final Fantasy follows the Star Wars Roleplaying Game: D20 version rules.

So please share your gripes about the comic.

(I repeat, this is a joke. I know why all those posts are wrong. I even know why the D20 system is basically the new D&D system.)

4. Not enough King Steve.

5. It leaves ink on my ass when I use print-outs as toilet paper.

No Sky Warriors, no backwards talking brooms, and no time-travel. Plus, the invisible woman is a complete no-show!

Uh, well at least I think she is.

The utterly terrible fashion sense. Red is so last week, the robes do nothing to flatter the mages, and, honey, don't get me started on all the men with big hair!

The style sucks. The backgrounds are all blurry and stuff, and what's with the characters? They're so blocky, they almost look like from an old video game. Never heard of high resolution, eh?

Well I'm glad you all got the point of this topic. Other times I tried to do something similar, half the posts were trying to correct me.

Anyway, how dare they portray forest imps that way? I'm sure the Forest Imp Anti-Defamation Legue is spitting nails right now!

Just to point it out, way more than half of these things are intended by Brian. Just to let you know.

The poor representation of Red Mage in the comic. I read his columns. They are intelligent adn well thouht out, then you see the way this "Brian Clevinger" portrays im in his "comic". Comepletely out of line.
