Saviorus looked back to see the Hydro Mage approaching. After a few moments, he released his mental control of the fires, causing them to sputter and die. He whiped a line of sweat from the bridge of his nose with a trembling hand. "I apologize." he said. "I must say you are the last person I expected to see."
Taking a deep breath, he regained control. "Where are the others?" he asked as he rubbed his heavily bruised cheek. |
ooc: Don't burn me, at least
Ray followed the sounds to find Savorius stalking through the corridor, flames flickering out of the room he must have just left, seeing as how the screaming had stopped, and there was left only the stench of ozone and guard flambe. I swear, if he burned my staff... He thought, after reconsidering calling out the man's name. Pyromagi weren't entirely stable, so to speak, the idea being not to suprise one when he's in the process of burning people. This being so, He ran back to the hall where his cell was, and of course only then noticed the door left ajar by the guard who now was banging on the locked cell door. thieves should be punished, you know. he said with a matter-of-factly tone as he retireved his staff from a table otherwise laden with half eaten bread crusts and a hunk of roast mutton without a bite taken out of it No time...but...mutton, soooo good.....nyah! the young man's scattered mind flew about, finally focusing back on his staff, and its ability to alleviate the considerable pain in his face, so he pickied it up, and immediately felt the pain dim, though the wounds wouldn't be full healed for a few hours. He cast a small healing spell on himself to speed the process before taking up his small pack and bow, tying everything securely, and headin out the door. Around the next hall, 2 guards had stalked out of an unnoticed anteroom and heard the commotion from his end of the hall, turning and yelling out as they began sprinting for him, swords drawn. Ray turned his mind to his spells, rifling through his mind and landing on what he needed, adjusting it to his needs, and intuitively casting it in a mere second. He spoke in a dire tone as the spell completed, the guards now a few meters away Stop running 5 spots on the floor and cieling and 7 on heach wall, all on the same plane, turned bright white and became connected to their opposites by piercingly bright strands, forming a net. The guards ran right through it, the life draining from them as they passed with incredible ease, falling to smoking pieces on the ground before him (a la Resident Evil). Ray cringed at the scent, but inwardly steeled himself against the fact that he had just send two sould to the fugue state, to be judged. He had killed, and he found himself reacting in a remarkable stable manner. Such things aside, he thought Now, where the hell is everyone else? As he dashed back through the corridor, hearing the voice of the Dark Mage, he ran for them, but was blocked off when a wooden support, weakened by Savorius's flames, crashed down in front of him, cutting him off. Shit. Well, thank goodness for theoretical magics. he thought, going back to the book he'd been reading and focused on the end of the hall he could se beyond the burning pillar, and vanished into a thousand streams of light which shot through the air around the flames and reformed into the young mage, merely an inch from his chosen target. DAMMIT! he exclaimed I thought I could have perfected that by now. And hey everyone...Suprise, I'm alive. |
Ken woke when he felt some heat by him. He struggled to stand. The time mmage stood. The door to his cell was steaming. The door was wet, and charred. Ken began to beat it with the base of his staff. the Door weakened by fire and water basically crumbled.
Kenyu coughing and wheezing walks into the hall. "I suppose we should get the hell out of here" |
"Wow, are you sure you didn't stay in a School, I mean, knowing that getting out of a basically crumbling building, thats some high level stuff." Jude mocked as he walked by. The group came into view, minus a Creator and female Dark Mage. "Where's whatshername? Still trapped?"
|
"At least I didn't try to burn the place to the ground, or drown everyone before actually getting out of the basement."
|
"Look again, the water is staying on the walls. Thats Hydro 101, holding water in place." Jude said. He looked around again. "Are we looking for Dark Magette or holding a convention?"

OOC: *cough*Ahem, if you are standing down the hallway from the others, I would be in sight, fighting Solomon...just to let you know
|
ooc: I'm out now and with the others.
|
OOC: I guess you guys don't mind me finishing him off then.
As the skeleton distracted Solomon, Zak concentrated on his crystal, and cast the most destructive single target spell he had ever made. The Light Mage was burning the skeleton's hands away with light when the spell hit him. A hole opened in his pants and his digestive system flew out of his butt. Immediately following the digestive system went several other systems, including his skeletal system, and the grand finale of his nervous system, meaning he felt every moment of it. The magic of the spell was still working on him to keep him concious as his systems slowly caught fire, yet wouldn't crumble away to ash. As the spell completed, the Light Mage was held alive and forever burning in a pile of his own organs. "Have fun Solomon, this spell lasts for around three to four years! Come Jinkens." Zak continued onward, followed by the quickly crumbling Jinkens, and found the time mage. He pulled Ken's map out of his pocket and handed it to him. "I believe this is yours." |
OOC: Elminsters... Ugh... For one, you just had your creator easily kill a mage Raiden declared was powerful in his own post. Secondly, you did it and Raiden is not even on.
