Alright, see, there are SO many reasons why this conversation should not be taking place.
Five bucks says one of the mods closes this thread. |

Awww....But that's the funny thing. I like to encourage people. It gives them self-confidence! And if he degenerates, that's even funnier. I love that sick, twisted sense of humor. But you're absolutely right. No more encouraging. And what game is that guy from? It looked familiar.... |
I said my two cents...I gladly agree to back down from this rapidly libellous conversation.
|
He's from Devil May Cry, Alon something I think.
And Wolf, your confusing things I've actually done with jokes and comments other people have made. I suggest go back and rereading everything before you diagnose me. Damn furries... |
Ah. Never played that. No wonder it was so familiar looking *sarcasm*

Oh...and make sure your grammar is correct. I had to read that 5 times before I figured out what exactly you were trying to say. And hiding things behind black text is so immature. (text has been made red to show IHMN's original attempted insult.) |
Here's my version of Wolfie's character.
Name: Cameron Age: 25 Gender: Male "Class": Con-man Appearance: Relatively short with long blonde hair that tends to cover his left eye. He wears a hooded cloak that covers most of his body. He wears leather gloves and leather boots. He carries his daggers in a holder on his back. A grappling gun is placed under his cloak on his left hip. Weapons: Two daggers Equipment: Grapple gun Quote: "Hello there. How are you? Are you comfortable? Good. Of course, comfort like this isn't free..." Bio: Cameron was an orphan, so he was raised on the street. He quickly learned that if he wanted to survive, he'd have to support himself. He had no real skill whatsoever, other than tricking people into believing that he was worse off than he really was. After a while, he got his trickery to an art. He could con almost anyone he wanted, and had enough smarts to know who he could con. At times though, negotiations went bad. So he trained in close combat with his daggers. And if he wanted to run, he would use his grapple to get to higher ground. Personality: A habitual liar. Even HE doesn't know that he's lying sometimes. And if he wants something, he'll pull every trick in the book to get it. |

Also, Raiden, we've already got a tricky gambler (Which would also indicate a con man). |
We have a gambler. Not a con-man. Gamblers gamble for money. Con-men talk you out of your money, and then disappear before it's their turn to deliver.
There's a difference. |
Is it good to have a con-man and a thief, when both are pretty good at conning? Do we really need that?
|
Meh. I'm just working with the whole "rogue" thing.
Plus, I'm just throwing out my two cents. You guys got a better idea, go ahead. |
Right now I could've set IHMN on fire for being the lying bully that he is, but I'm being the bigger man. And I will admit that I did go too far basing other people's 'jokes' about IHMN in fact. (see I can admit wrongdoing)
I like my character so far...except that as I just pointed out before, I'm not a habitual liar...but I think I would pull a whole shitload of tricks to achieve success. But as to weapons...could it be possible to have a crossbow? And a theif and a con-man are the same thing in theory |

And I assumed I would be, so I could get out of going to jail or losing a limb. But, I'm assuming things. I guess I could always whore my way out of jail, (that usually works...) and I'm sure I won't need my right arm, either. |
Actually, thieves aren't very good at conning. That's why they sneak and steal. They're good at stealth, but their personalities leave something to be desired.
|
IHMN, if you were the bigger man you wouldn't have blacked your "Damn furries" comment. Now sit down and agree to disagree.
Theives have to BS thier way out of being implicated in crimes. That would be conning. |

Conning has to be a Just-in-case failsafe way if somebody ever starts to catch on to them.
|
A good thief would not get caught. And if she does, you run and hide.

English sucks. Spanish is easier to comprehend. |
English is easy. All you have to do is remember that when you use a ', you're only putting two words together.
Can you guess who's been doing well in English? |

I said it sucked. I never said I sucked at it. In fact, I'm smarter than my English teacher. He went to college, and I'm still in highschool, so....who says my generation is stupid? |
Actually, I only have a problem with you're and your. I never think about it, but I always check my there and their (They're I tend to write as they are).
And yes, English is easy. When you are forced to take it for 12 years, you better know it... Edit - Some one just make a generic bio with a crossbow. We've hit the page limit and there is only one character left. |
And when you get the psycho teacher who likes to make people write essays that are worth a large chunk of your grade.
Only one more year of High School english left. I'm quite thankful. |

In truth, I don't like the con-man thing one bit. I am not a habitual liar in real life or when I RP. I don't really think I'd be able to do something like that. |
Could we un-invite wolf? 90% of his posts so far have been arguing with IHMN about completely inconsequential and non-serious comments, which breeds ill blood between the both of them, and, further, causes threads, that would other-wise not hit page limit until we were done doing what we needed to do, to be expanded and filled with a bunch of bickering that no one in their right mind would like to read.
Not to mention that, from my impartial third party view point, I've noticed wolf constantly accusing IHMN of things that he himself has done to a greater degree. Like making baseless accusations. For instance: calling him a furry after a few other people accused him of humping anything that moves (which wouldn't make him a furry... he'd have to prefer animal people to real people for that), or accusing him of dropping acid multiple times--which is just a weak and pathetic attempt at an insult in any school of thought worth anything. In other words: he causes arguements that don't need to happen, and even if he has the RP abilities of God it wouldn't be worth all the bitching to keep him around. Also, Wolf, don't bother trying to start an arguement with me over this. You're officially beneath my time and energy after reading through the first discussion thread and now this one. Maybe if your arguements and insults were entertaining and coherent, as opposed to the neither you sport now, I'd bother with a back and forth arguement... through PMs, so as not to spam up the thread. Which reminds me, if you absolutely HAVE to pick fights with IHMN over every little joke he makes, PM him instead of irritating the rest of us. ...What? Someone had to say it before it happened again. Edit: http://www.nuklearforums.com/member.php?u=3823 That is the best user name ever. |
The image is from Devil May Cry, Nelo Angelo. You could always say the thing is just a helmet.

Also, krylo's post brought an intresting question to mind... How good could God RP? What exactly is god level RPing? Also, generic guy. Name: Generic name Age: 22 Gender: Male *Class*: Cross bow guy Appearace: Normal looking, generic guy. Quote: Bio: Generic background, and he owns a cross bow. Personality: Generic, meaning none. |

Krylo makes a good and valid point, that's all I'm going to say about his rant. I would appreciate it if you all did not attempt to un-invite me. I will refrain from arguing with IHMN if that's what you want...but don't uninvite me just because people have differing opinions. I know I overstepped things a bunch of times...but I doubt that none of you can honestly say that has ever happened to you.
Ultimately, the choice falls to SS, who has, by the way, repeatedly seen me and IHMN go at each other's throats. I don't think he would've invited both of us and not expected something like that to happen. Once again...it's his choice. |
Well, I can say that! Because I haven't been here that long! *ahem*
If it were up to me, I'd let you stay, but you'd being toeing the line. |
I appreciate the vote of confidence, Heiseki.
|
Now I could make one last thread before the RP begins.
I could reprimand Wolf. I could do a lot of things. But right now? I'm only going to say two things. 1) IHMN, you didn't post the updated character list. Remember the two katana stuff? And Krylo's rapier? God I'm feeling picky. 2) This whole Wolf IHMN thing? I'm not touching it with a ten foot pole. Now, if no one minds, I'm going to go see the Punisher at the cheapies theater. Ta-ta. |
That's because you're lazy.
Besides: Quote:

Okay, I'm sensing dying interest, so I'm going to start this ASAP.
And Wolf, I'm giving you special permission here to make your own character. Only because you're the last one. |
All right...here goes...
Name: David Wolfram Age: 26 Gender: Male Class: Mercenary/Ranger Appearance: 5' 8", blond hair, blue eyes, trenchcoat, black pants, black shirt. Equipment: Crossbow, Dagger Bio: David is a soldier for hire, fighting for the highest bidder for almost 3 years now. He has taken many missions for many employers...and has vot failed to achieve results once. As such, he is highly sought after, by employers and adversaries alike. He is also wanted by a few law enforcement agencies as well...due to his somewhat unlawful nature of most of his missions. (I can't think of anything else this late) Personality: Cold and calculating, also slightly suspicious of people around him. |
Punisher is good. I'm amazed that it's still out, though.
Whenever you're ready with the RP, I'm ready. I probably won't be back till later on tonight, though. |
Well, this looks like the join-up thread, so I'll put my profile here if you'll let me in.
Name: kaldra Age: ??? Gender: None Class: Warrior Apperance: 6'2" avatar made of blue-green energy, has sword in right and, shield attached to left arm, and a helmet with a red "T" shape on the front and three back-pointed horns. Equipment: Sword, Shield, Helmet Bio: The spirit of an ancient warrior given new form, sealed inside his three weapons, brought to life when all three are brought together. Kaldra is entitled to do the task set to him by whoever summons him. But after his summoner is killed by necrontyr, he is left with a dilema: he no longer has a purpose. But he chooses to follow his last order: destroy the necrontyr! Personality: Cold, stoic, always focused. I hope you can give a new guy a chance. I know what I'm doing in RPs. |
Don't take me for a hard-ass. I'm normally a nice guy. It's IHMN who likes to be crabby. But, there are several reasons why you can't join.
1) This RP is invitation only. Hence, unless you can get SS to invite you, you can't get in. 2) In this RP, you have everybody else make your profile. You don't do it yourself. Yeah...sorry. |
Maybe, but this was invite only and you're way late, try with some other RP.
|
Kaldra, not only did you not read the first post of the first thread for this RP, where it clearly states invatation only, and where it says that other people makes your character.
But, on top of that, you decided to make some sort of magical person that does not go with what an avatar is, at all. Lastly, after making a character that should not exist for three reasons, you decide to post in the RP anyway. And you can apparently fly, which is no where stated in your bio, which means you're just making up shit as you go along. Idiot... |
Quote:
I see. Well, I did just get on the board, but that's no excuse. The thread looked interesting, like my character would work perfectly. But I guess I can't. The post I made in the RP has been deleted. |
