Hearing the quick cry off to one side Hunter turned to take a look. He forgot to shut off his pain beam as he turned to find Sparks who quickly fell to his knees. Realizing what had just happened he quickly stopped them beam and rushed over to see if this new person was ok. "Sorry about that," he apologized as he came up to Sparks, "I was so intent on what I was doing I forgot to stop when I heard you. It was just a small amount of mircowave radiation the pain should stop soon." Man I have to be more carefull Hunter chided himself. One of these days I'm going to really hurt someone doing that. Then he bent down to help Sparks to his feat. "The name is Hunter," he stated as he helped Sparks to his feet, "and I see you are a metahuman as well."

"Gee, thanks, I hadn't noticed." He stood, and stretched his back. "Do you have any idea how much that hurts!?"

He brushed himself off, and offered his hand. "Nickname's Sparks. How do you do?"

OOC: Shadow dude that is around there, before you try to escape, there's no way you could've escaped that. Reaction times are never as fast as when the action is commited. Therefore, you should be falling off the wall right now.

Shade got hit with the pain beam while on the side of the building, he lost his concentration causing him to take normal form and land painfully in the ally below. "Damn him" He said in frustration. Realizing how much noise he made upon impact, he went back into a shadow. He then went to the other side of the building and began climbing quickly.

Hunter was just about to answer Sparks when he heard the loud noise from the alley. I knew it, he said to himself, There was someone following me. That will teach them not to mess with me. Then he turned back to Sparks and said, "Most people call me Flash, and I've heard that it feels like your skin is boiling when I do that. I've been thinking about hitting myself with it, but I don't have the nerve to do it." Definetly could have made a better first impression, but it's to late now.

"So what brings you to this roof top," Hunter asked. "was I attracting to much attention with the light show?" Realizing he was still lighting the entire area he quickly brought the light back to normal levels. "Sometimes I forget to turn of the lights," he joked, "but I'm great at parties."

Without making a sound, Shade reached the rooftop behind Hunter and took normal form. He then launched his arm forward (its still attached, just stretching.), his hand now morphed into a sharp spike. He aimed straight for Hunter's heart.

All of a sudden Hunter detedted the EM signals of another preson behind him. Taking is normal action he started to step to the side leaving his image behind him. However, he was a few seconds to late and took a good cut from the shadow blade as it passed through his image. Giving a quick cry of pain then losing control, as he feel to the ground, his false image vanished and he became visable again.

Looking up he saw what appeared to be a shadow standing right behind where he had just been. Damn that was way to close, he thought and responded by hitting his attacker with all the power he was capable of generating. Unknowingly he acheived what he had been trying to do for weeks. The leading edge of the light flash approximated that of a solid object and slamed into the Shadow. The effort expanded to create that flash drained Hunter of almost everything he had and he nearly passed out.

OOC: Shade, your character and my character are basically clones. I think we need a plausable explanation for that. For example they might by distantly related or some such thing, and that having the same genes gave them similar powers.

OOC: Ok Jaguar, that'll work.

IC: Shade screamed in agony as he flew over three buildings then falling into an ally, bouncing off the walls until he landed face-first on the ground.
Raising his head a few inches, he muttered "That.....bast...erd." then he lost conscousness.

Hunter lifted himself up onto one elbow as he watched Shade fly into the air. That's not supposed to happen, he thought to himself in shock, How in the hell did I do that. Perhasp I finally generated a solid surface, to bad it took so much out of me. Then the pain from his wound snapped him back to reality and he fell back down.

ooc: Well I wasn't expecting you to make yourself fly quite that far Shade, but it was damn cool. So far there as been some nice action in this RP.

OOC: Thanks, you did put all of your energy into it after all.
