The Story unfolds
 

Alright since I am saving Assassin Hunters Run more next week, I am going to take a risky gambit here. I looked through this and something like this has been has done before but not quite like this. I am doing a Story RP. This if done righ can quite possibly be one great thing, but this will require some well actualy extremely well developed characters a setting that can be agreed upon, and thats just the start of the tale, litterally. What is trying to be accomplished is telling a story. Like a Free Form RP. Only this is Free Form in its most honest form. We can decide on a story, or chose to let the story tell itself. Its all up to those who join.

So, you're looking for your basic, free form post by post kind of deal here?

Be that the case, I'll join, if you'll let me. I used to be a member on this rather large site that was free-form, post by post based. The only problem was it was run like a dictatorship. The rules were not always...bah, let me not get into it.

I will allow you guys to have heros ant heros loners whatever, we just need a format before we do it.

I don't know excatly what you're talking about, but I heard the call for more typers. I'll input my talents if you need them, Youll just need to give me a little more background as to what the heck we're doin'. Isn't it just a normal roleplay that we've always been doin' here?

Mc43 has returned..From whatever...Good to have you back. Anyways, Not exactly what everyone has done since the begginning. You see since its a story everybody adds to it because there is no clear plot except for what is the setting. So in essence its actually Free Form in its purest form only the setting and characters have been made. So MC43 if you want to help out just join in. Oh that reminds me Char Sheets. Yeah, I need those...Umm Here is a skeletal one until we have more people or a better Idea for setting...

Thanks... I've kinda been swamped with stuff, but I should come back with full vigor (I can't spell). Anyway, it sounds interesting and you can expect me in, as soon as I think up a character... This might be a good time to be Grit!

I'd join except this sounds like a regular RP that simply has no starting point, or at least you haven't decided on a start-genre.

Yeah, pretty much all RPs are that. I guess you mean that instead of one person (the GM) having a semi-set idea of where the hell the RP is going, your letting everybody else just go along as they please, in a set setting...in that case this is gunna blow up bad. Number one killer of RPs is no set path, because without the path people don't know what to do and you will never develop past the opening meet-n-greet.

Of course, somebody might take charge and say "Oh no, Garthom, digester of worlds has kidnapped all the pretty virgins and most of the hot whores, lets kill him!" but then everyone's all gung ho for about thirty seconds before they realize that only the guy who made Garthom up knows anything about him, then its maybe a chapter of wandering and then it dies.

In summary, don't start an RP that explicitly has no set storyline unless you secretly have one.

Ummm I did, but with that disillusionment the problem for me is sleep deprivation. You see I think up something that I think is new, yeah its just your average RP then.There is a plot here. An underlying theme if you will. Its that I want to be in a fun RP. One that will be talked about later and have several omakes and such like you guys and the original ffrp.As Writer I get tired of the same old story song and dance occasionally. I post up the plot after I finish my dinner.

Instead of a plot how about this. All of us, vote or choose for a theme for this, and since I really don't have much faith in my esteem, we can even vote for a DM in this.

Hm... I'm gonna have to go with some kind of War... Thingie...
