Class Changes?

HI! I'm Nav! I like 8 bit theatre, and this is my first post here! Yay.

There are some FF1 spoilers ahead, though I doubt anyone cares. But, just so you know...

Concerning the future of the comic, I think it's pretty safe to assume that out intrepid heroes will more or less move along in a remotely similar fashion as in the Final Fantasy Game. Eventually, though, the light warriors will reach the point where they meet Bahamut and upgrade their class(Fighter-Knight, BlackMage-BlackWizard, WhiteMage-WhiteWizard, Thief-Ninja, RedMage-RedWizard, BlackBelt-Master).

Will this happen? Or does Brian plan to circumvent this part of the story? If implemented, how would it affect the whole comic? Will Black Mage finally get something bigger than Hadoken? Will Fighter be a lawful stupid archetype (instead of just stupid)? What of character sprites? Will character names change? Could this be the point where the comic jumps the shark?

Just something I thought should be mentioned. May have been discussed before, but since I've only been reading this board the past few days (been reading only since 330 or so), I'm curious. Anyone have ideas? Perhaps word from the man himself? I'm interested.

They already have the upgraded forms of the light warriors making cameo apperances in the comic. They'll prob stay the same.

There were lotsa discussions bout this in the other forum, and all we know is that Brian seems to have a plan, and if he doesnt, he sure as hell wont tell nobody.

Yeah, I think he will indeed go through with class change. Last time this was talked about, the batty one swooped down and showed some of his class change experiments. *looks around*

SWB?

And I personally don't think he'll change the classes. Sure, he did once (with numbah 300), but he quickly changed it back. I don't think he will cuz a)It would conflict with the other 'true' Light Warriors, b)It would require that they get their names changed, and finally (c)It'll be really funny when Fighter kills Bahamut, and RM breaks down into tears.

Thats actually a pretty good idea. ANd funny.

OFF TOPIC: Nice avvy. "Watch out PS2! Here come those bad online punks!"

The place for that is a PM. I'm a little sad no one's mentioned my Fat Dudley avatar yet, though...

Anyway, I think Brian said he would change them in the thread, too.

Oops. I forgot to pu tin what I wanted to say about he topic. Sorry heh Ill fix.

For the class changes, they won't, first off they will have no idea what the 'sign of courage' is. And maybe, maybe (but highly unlikely) BM will manipulate Bahamut to be his summon. Or just Fighter will feel threatened by the dragon and throws a sword through his head, just like the gaint. Or something else, I'm just brainstorming.

Didn't Brian say he was going to make Bahamut the God of 8BT? Kind of hard for Fighter to put a sword through a god's head, methinks.
