David grabbed a short sword that had been dropped on the deck, probably by a fallen crewmember. Although not an expert with swords, he did at least know how to use them. After all, a mercenary had to be prepared for everything.
As an android came to attack him, David swung the sword left to right, and separated the robot's head from his shoulders. Stepping over the fallen corpse, David leapt into the fray, hacking away at metalheads left and right. |
Within a short ammount of time, the big 'bots had lost all chance of catching up, and almost all the small ones had been dispatched as well.
Then one of the large ones gave a shrieking, frantic last burst of speed, and slammed onto the deck. It roared, (A sound that sounded like metal screaching on more metal) and backhanded two of the crew clean off of the ship. The back of the ship started going down from the immense weight... |
Sashimi felt the ship start to tip. He watched as several of the people on board began to slip off.
"Damn. Peope are gonna die if that thing doesn't get off." Sashimi allowed the slope to slide him down towards the creature. His swords were drawn, and he got close to the creature. It roared and flung its arm at him. He ducked, and the arm went over him. While the creature had its arm up, he slashed at its side. Instead of slicing clean through like he had intended, his katana instead became imbedded in the metal skin of the creature. "Crap!" EDIT:(OOC: Because I'm a bad, bad boy.) |
"Aim for the legs" The raven called.

OOC: Raiden, the things weight alone is causing the airship to tilt... Do you think your guy can actually build up the momentum to make it stumble and bend over?
IC: Will had been avoiding combat during the entire flying android attacks. When the andriods stopped coming, he left his hiding spot. Then he saw the giant metal man throw two people off of the side of the ship. Since he had been completely worthless during the first attack, Will decided to help here. He teleported off to the side of the ship, and quickly looked down for the two crew members who were thrown off before his falling speed started to increase. Quickly teleporting down to the falling people, he grabbed the two crew members by their shirt collars. Looking up, he teleported back up to the side of the ship, then quickly teleported onto the deck. Since teleporting does not get rid of energy, Will and the two crew members slammed into the ship like they had fallen off a building, and were knocked unconcious. |
During the entire fight, as that Derek has a strong belief in both survival and enjoyment, he had been below deck 'with' one of the female crew members, in a storage cabinet, and had just driven her to another orgasm as the ship rocked, sending things crashing about her.
The woman seemed startled but Derek just grinned. "I told you I'd rock your world." (OOC: There, now my laziness has been covered up. Seriously. I'm not just too lazy to post anything else.) |
Kal glanced around. They couldn't defeat it normally. He glanced up. At the top of the Crow's Nest, there was a cannon. It was actually quite a big one.
He glanced down. For his plan to work, he would need to get the crow's nest cut, preferably without hitting the mast, and have someone get it's head under the cannon, then have someone keep it still, and then he could fire. "Guys! I got a plan! Crossbow guy, shoot out the restraining bolts around back for the Crow's Nest! The rest of you, get it's head under where the cannon shoots, and HOLD IT STILL!" Kal bolted at the tower, leapt onto the ropes and started scrambling up to the cannon. Silently, he hoped that he wasn't on top when the bolts were shot out. *** The creature roared, and stopped. This broke the planks of the ground in some places, and in some places punched into the level below. This sprayed splinters everywhere, sending a mock wave of wooden debris at the people fighting up top. Ironically enuogh, it also pulled out a storage cabinet, and whipped it at some crew members. In an amazing coincidence, it hit the samurai. Who, in a feat of amazing daring-do had travelled with the wood. The locker opened, spilling it's "preoccupied" occupants out. OOC: No one do anything involving Krylo getting tossed onto the deck like that. I want to see how he recovers dignity. |
Meth took wing. He knew his best chance for survival was to help the crew. As a raven he knew the best way to attack a larger creature. Meth dove in talons gleaming he grasped at one of the creatures eyes and was rewarded as he flew around the deck holding the bionic orb.

David steadied himself on the tilting deck, and aimed his crossbow at the restraining bolts.
This plan sounds absolutely insane...therefore it MUST succeed. he thought as he opened fire on the bolts, shattering them. The mast holding the crow's nest began to fall. |
Kal leapt off his current rope, twisted, and volleyed off of it, pulling a rope while he was at it. As he was going at it from the opposite side that it was falling towards, so he launch dropped him right in the nest.
He whipped a rope through one of the holes and lashed it tight. The cannon abruptly stopped, pointing down at the deck. Kal checked to make sure it was loaded, which it was. "GET IT IN LINE!" |
