I'm so demented.

Eh heh heh heh..

This has been in the "to-do" list for a long time.

two questions, if you don't mind the asking. why would somebody do this, and what exactly has been done here? i can't quite figure it out, is there some kind of hidden animation, or is it simply an endless progression of chicken buckets? In either case, I fear for the future.

Trev-MUN Hates AOL 07-07-2004 12:39 AM

Why would someone do this? Because they can.

And no, there is no hidden animation.

Sithdarth 07-07-2004 12:42 AM

Thats not demented enough. Now you need to write a virus that will highjack someones computer and run that forever blocking all attempts at turning it off. Now that is demented.

Funka Genocide 07-07-2004 12:51 AM

well, actually, it really doesn't register all that high on the demento-meter (I just made that up) its just a chicken bucket conveyor belt. I've seen worse in real life, try coming up with an image which is more demented than reality. That should challenge your talents.

synkr0nized 07-07-2004 02:59 AM

No mutant uprising? No sudden explosion from the buckets? They just get to trundle along there?

Don't mislead me. A well-done repeating animation is far from demented. Unless that was merely meant to be an admission of a state of mind on your part, unrelated to said animation.

Defcon 07-07-2004 04:23 AM

Nice loop, but it doesn't really look like chicken, I'm not one to criticize, Nevermind, I am.

Funka Genocide 07-07-2004 11:41 AM

I think this animation could be improved by the addition of some chicken reanimation elements, you could have one of the buckets tip over and all the chicken pieces reassemble themselves into the semblance of a chicken, then it could dance around and throw crumbs everywhere, while people take pieces off of it and eat them. The addition of a screaming chicken noise everytime this happens would probably add to the effect. thats kind of demented...

Trev-MUN Hates AOL 07-07-2004 03:01 PM

This animation is complete. It's accomplished what I want it to accomplish, and it perfectly matches the imagery I had in mind. Granted, it's not as interactive as the stuff Han Hoogerbrugge does, but I feel it's just as demented.

Also, SithDarth, that's more at being malicious than demented. I;mmore for the "harmless fun" kind of demented. And for Synkronized, consider this -- what is sane or rational about someone making an animation of a conveyor belt with an endless line of fried chicken in a bucket? Furthermore, contemplate the beauty and form of the synchronization of the music with the synergy of the buckets moving across the conveyor belt. Let it become one with you, and you will become one with the buckets of chicken. Then you will know dementia.

*blinks*
Whoa, buckets of chicken... moving endlessly, never stopping, trailing forever upon the conveyor belt of chicken-bucketness...

*nods* Yep. You were bored, weren't ya?
